Lets get that sweep. I'm sick of the brew crew being the best team in baseball

I asked my Brewers friend about the Saturday game the other day, but he has yet to respond to my phone call and my emails. Last I heard this weekend was free for him, but I'm not holding out much hope he'll go to the game.

Brewers are gonna sweep us. This rotation is terrible on the back end. Gotta get rid of Pelfrey. Sosa gives us our best chance to win a game, which makes this said.

I don't like what is ahead of us on Saturday.

Don't sleep on Sosa as he was dominant in New Orleans where he had something like a 1.13 ERA and was 4-0.

The Brewers are overrated. They play in the one of the shittier divisions in Baseball. I saw we win Friday and Sunday, drop Saturday (the game i have tickets to  )

Cubs and Cards have good lineups.

Ned Yost is doing a great job with that pitching staff. He has three of the five starters with an ERA under 3. Francisco Cordero has been automatic.

overrated? c'mon with that stuff already, 24-10 is an impressive record regardless of who they've been playing.

We got the back end of the roration going against them, so it will be a tough series..hoping to again take 2 of 3

respect the opponents, don't be like Yank fans!

THis is going to be tough.... If we can take 2/3 it'd be a nice confidence booster though.. If we want to be the best in the NL, that means beating the best in the NL. It starts here with the Brewers, then we have to start beating the Braves

2/3 would be nice, but to expect it seems a little overoptimistic to me. Suppan has been pitching well all year (and we all know what he can do against the Mets), Sheets has pitched well his last four times out (and has been a good pitcher for years when not hurt), and Capuano has been Milwaukee's version of John Maine. That's hardly a great matchup against Sosa, Pelfrey, and Perez, all of whom could be great, but could also be awful.

If Sosa pitches like his last outing I think we win Friday. I think Perez will bounce back and get the win. Any game Pelfry pitches I put down as a loss. IMO, if the hitting holds up, the Mets take 2/3.

They were a comparably shitty home team last year too.

They had a .617 winning percentage at home last year (best in the NL), compared to .580 on the road, so I can't see how you say that.

Not a whole lot of talk yet for this huge matchup this weekend. I'm hopefully going tomorrow, who knew that this series would be so big (certainly not the Mets, who are charging $9 for uppers this series - the lowest level in their tiered pricing scheme).

I found this to be hilarious:

You have to be happy for Brewers fans that, for now at least, they have a fun team to root for. Talk about the dregs of baseball. I think only the Royals getting hot would be a bigger story than this.

That being said, here's hoping we put a damper on their enthusiasm this weekend.
