All I know of is Wright, Shawn Green, Glavine, and Heilman.

Anyone know why some Mets players shaved their heads?

actually, the whole team did except 2.

the only 4 who didn't shave their heads were Aaron Sele and Jose Reyes

I guess in a goofy kind of way it makes sense. I wonder why Reyes didn't want to do it. They said on the radio today that Sele didn't want to because of a family picture.

Don. Be careful, the baseball troll police are out, and you are antagonizing. You have not contributed a positive statement and have made two negative comments in a Met thread.

Because the Mets aren't as classy or professional as other baseball teams in New York.

I thought that was a pretty legitimate answer to the question of this thread. I heard that's what they use to do when i was a kid if somebody got lice. Being a team in a close environment and all...well you know

    At least you're honest.

What other teams are there in New York?

    Yankees, Mets...Who else?

Ugghh do Yankee fans have any other rhetoric to spew out their vile mouths? We get it, we haven't won anything in 20 years so what, this is 2007 not 1996.

    lookout the rockets back
the yanks have another starter with an above 4 era
and pitches less than 7 innings.

but dont worry their bullpen should be better
    hey its the yankees right?

Since Saturday Yankees starters have went...

    Wang - 8 innings 1 ER - W
    Rasner 5 2/3 innings 0 ER - W
    DeSalvo - 7 innings 1 ER - ND
    Pettitte - 7 innings 1ER - W
    Moose - 6 innings 2 ER - W

Not bad at all, but still the bullpen has been over charged.

And all against terrible teams, Seattle and Texas will be lucky to win 80 games

But when the staff was doing shitty against bad teams, everything was looked the other way right?

I don't care if it's terrible teams or not, the point is they're producing and showing something...Although scratch Andy, he's been good thus far.
