I'm a Pats fan who has never posted to another team's forum, though I have read many. I had to register here specifically to tell you how funny the post about the New England Awesomes was.

I have written stuff about the Jets, Dolphins and Colts that I thought was funny, but it came nowhere close to this. I laughed out loud.

It is well documented that I hate Miami more than I can express, so no, they don't worry me. Even when we were in the AFC east basement, we could STILL give them major problems. The Bills? Eh, depends on which Bills team shows up, they've never really worried me either. When they were a good team, my team totally sucked (Walton, Kotite, Coslett) *shudders*

The Ravens and the Steelers, as much as I dislike them, can be dangerous. Also with the moves the Browns have made, I wouldn't sell them short either.

So, even thou we face The New England Awesomes twice this year as per inter-conference rules, we have bigger fish to fry. :grin:

I just want to go on record, as a Pats fan, in stating that I don't think the Pats are close to being a lock, but I like their chances. Any fan that thinks the Pats are a lock are either new to the NFL or aren't very bright when it comes to the NFL. Anything can happen. And even though I disagree with it, there's good arguments on possible attitude problems or gelling issues.

I remember the Rams being a lock in 2001 but we know how that turned out.

Hey I aprecciate you coming in here and trying to make us Jets fans feel better about the upcoming season. But get real, the Patriots are the biggest lock in NFL history, the only question that remains is if they knock off MIami as the only undefeated team.

 

OK, now you're just lying or in denial. How can a good team in your own division concern you less than any other team? Makes no sense. The Jets concern me out of any other team. That doesn't mean they're the best team we play
