I really thought Wang was going to get it when he fell behind Ibanez 3-0 then ended up striking him out in the dirt...The Matsui catch, I really thought it was going to happen...Then Benny Boy, of all people.

Absolutey but I think his no-hitter was rmoved from the record books as Ithink you have to pitch at least 9 innings and he pitched 8 since Chi didn't bat in the bot of the 9th. melido Perez also had a rain shortened no-hitter around that time that was removed from the record books- those were the days for the Yanks:eek:hmy:

That was 2001, about a week or so before 9/11.

It was sickening. I have never been a Mussina fan really, but I wanted that so bad, he was flawless. And Boston actually had the winning run at the plate after Carl singled...

Luckily the Yanks held on, but man, I don't think it could of been any closer.

I remember that, what a huge bummer that was.

Great move by Proctor. He gets Torre thrown out so he can't mismanage the bullpen for at least one day. Maybe we'll win this one.

I think sending Rasner down is a mistake. Igawa is the guy who needs minor league practice right now.

Pretty good series if you forget the debacle started by Kei.

Roger can't join us soon enough.
