Brady would get poked in the eye week one on a blitz and play the rest of the season with double vision, explaining his 30 interceptions.

Chad would go to the Pats and do what he has always done which is to play at the level that his teammates supported and the Pats would win 12 games.

Brady would get hurt week 1 against the Pats.. Chad would go on and win MVP of the league with a SB capper.. :eek:hmy:

Beside, he pretended to moon them, not wipe his ass. What was the big deal about that anyway? Mooning is a joke and always has been. Why anybody took that seriously and made such a big deal about it is beyond me.

Now if he had actually mooned them instead of just pretending to then maybe they would have had a gripe.

    No, no, no.

I tried that one the first time. He wants: what if they played 16 games each?

Glutton fer punishment if ya ask me. I been a Jet's fan fer a loooooooong time.

That would be interesting.. I think it would be business as usual if they were to switch team for a 16 week season..

You'd be surprised what would happen against some of the elite teams in the playoffs. Chad does not do all that well when he faces a strong pass rush and very good defensive backs.

Speaking of which.. This is probably going to be the most boring pre-season we have every seen from both teams since they play the first game against each other.. I know teams don't show much during the pre-season but this year will really be that way.. Belli's only plays.. run left, run right, run middle.. that's it..

I think the Jets are going to let it all hangout in the preseason and then get very conservative against the Pats game 1. They'll try to turn it into that one score at the end scenario and hope for the best.

Long ways to go between now and then though.

I read somewhere (I don't quite recall where) that the A. Thomas/R. Moss addition to NE is eerily similar to the same move made by Philly in bringing in J. Kearse/T. Owens.

Ummm. Philly did make the SB before the implosion. I wonder where the similarities would end.

I think it's safe to say that whatever the Jets do in the preseason expect the exact opposite in Week 1.

    Yep.

And I really do not think Mangini is going to try to trick his way into a win against New England. He's better off playing a safe game plan and relying on the home field to try to turn things his way.

You are mistaken. Moss first pretended to moon the crowd. Then he pretended to wipe his bum on the goalpost. Those who were watching the game live know this.

What concerns me the most about the Randy Moss deal is that now he's motivated to perform. The guy hasn't been truly motivated in years. They went from having one of the worst receiving corps to having one of the best.

Absolutely, it was one of the funniest things I saw in ages.

Did you know that Joe Buck apparently had to take the next day off work because he was so affected and disgusted by Moss' antics.

Me and my mate still laugh about that and the hysterical overreaction. In the UK there was a "soccer player" who was accused of snorting coke so after he scored a goal he got down on his knees on national tv and pretended to snort the white lines off the pitch. Joe Buck probably would've had a heartattack :)

I'm with u but the big deal was that it was Randy Moss who did now if that was like Tom Brady everybody would had thought it was funny.
