Anyone want to take a guess what position we will covet? Any prospects that are considered tremendous future talents? These are def. some Heisman hopefuls in '08 Steve Slaton - West Virginia Ray Rice - Rutgers Colt Brennan - Hawaii Chad Henne - Michigan Mike Hart - Michigan Brian Brohm - Louisville
Antoine Cason- back in January I had him as the 2nd best CB in this draft behind Revis. Problem was Cason decided to go back to school (Arizona). Paul Smith- QB, Tulsa Andre Woodson- QB, Kentucky Darren McFadden- TB, Arkansas Thomas Brown- RB, Georgia
SI.com has a great spread of the top 25 players in college ball that are draft-eligible for next year. And that running back from Arkansas is Darren McFadden.
Guys......J. Leman, MLB from Illinois is going to be an unbelievable pro. He had the most tackles in the Big Ten and hits like a freight train. He will be a top 15 pick!!
Look out for Jamaal Charles out of Texas(# 25), who will be a junior this upcoming season. At times during his freshman and sophmore seasons, he showed flashes of Reggie Bush type ability. Unfortunately, he's been very inconsitent. This year he gave up track to focus solely on football. As a result he came into spring practive much bigger than he was in his first 2 seasons. I don't what his measurables are now but this was a 6'0" 200 lbs RB who reportedly has clocked under 4.3. If the added strength improves his balance and does not affect his speed in anway, watch out.
next year needs will be as follows..... WR/TE OL DL thats it...now we need a list of potential free and restricted free agents jil
We may have a lot of needs going into next years draft. Offensive line will definitely be a need with 3/5 of the line being below average, old and declining. Wide reciever will be a need unless Brad Smith proves he can be something great, even then it will probably still be a need. Nose tackle may be a need if Robertson fails to imrpove, or if Pouha doesn't show signs of potential there. Safety may be a need if neither Eric Smith or Eric Coleman step up. Outside linebacker could bea need if Hobson can't be resigned, or if he can't improve his sack total. Tight end could still be a need, personally I like Baker, but the FO might think otherwise. Hopefully we will only go in with 2-3 of these needs, but all of those reason are definitely viable to happen, which worries me a bit.

Cason at 7. Funny thing was I had him as the 2nd best CB (behind Revis) in the 2007 Draft back in early January. Then Cason decided to not enter the draft. Lynell Hamilton is still in school? Will this be his 6th year in college? Early Doucet is probably better than Dwayne Bowe and Craig Davis. Woodson will get into the top 10 with a solid season this year. That Wazzou WR needs to get hounds. Willie Williams now plays for Louisville, as far as I know.
willie williams is on the ville. Micahel Oher is a man-child, and if everyone liked Blalock this year it will be the same with this guy. Michael Lewis, the man who penned Money Ball, wrote a book centered around him called The Blind Side.
