This may belong in the NFL forum or Draft forum. I'm not sure. Feel free to move it anywhere. ---- OROY: Brady Quinn. I'm not kidding. He will start. The Browns got their two favorite picks in the draft. Amazing. He'll be the starter after TC, and with talented Braylon Edwards, big super cool veteran Joe Jurevicius, and hopefully Kellen Winslow back, he'll have weapons. A new and heavily improved line to protect him and and Jamal Lewis there too. Too bad he's in such a tough division. He'll still win it. DROY: LaRon Landry. Playing in a weak run, heavy pass happy division will give him plenty of chances to make the highlight reel. With teams knowing what ProBowler Sean Taylor can do and game planning away from him, he should get more chances. If he lives up to his athletic gifts I'm seeing a 4 INTs, maybe 5, and a ProBowl selection.
I'll definately agree with Landry - hes pretty much garaunteed to start, and he plays at a potentially very flashy position (ie highlight reel potential). As for OROY, thats a tough call, im thinking Bowe/Meachem have good shots at it since they are pretty much automatically their teams #1 recievers and they are both extremely talented
OROY: Calvin Johnson running away. He's got Roy Williams lined up opposite him (ugliest receiver combo in football next year) and Kitna throwing the ball (live arm there) and he's going to catch 75 balls for 1,200 yards and maybe 15 TD's. DROY: Patrick Willis, as San Francisco goes 10-6 and grabs a playoff spot.
Offensive ROY: Antonio Gonzalez( Peterson and Olsen runners up) Defensive ROY: Patrick Willis(Revis and Laundry runners up)
OROY: Calvin Johnson- Just an amazing player and has a great player lining up opposite of him which will allow him to run free. DROY: Laron Landry- Will have a great season opposite of Sean Taylor
OROY: Ted Gi---I mean, Marshaun Lynch, Buffalo Bills. DROY: Aw, screw it: Darrelle Revis, New York Jets.
OROY- Adrian Peterson- behind Hutchinson and McKinnie he will put up huge numbers. DROY- Gaines Adams- Monte Kiffin finally has a much needed pass rusher to bolster an aging defense.
Meachem is FAR from the #1 receiver on the Saints. Colston is by a wide margin, and could easily turn into the #1 reveiver in the NFL.
I agree that Colston is a beast, and you may not be too far fetched with your idea of him being the #1 reciever in the league. And although I know I'm probably wrong, but I feel he strived and will continue to strive playing as the #2 reciever (I know, I know, Joe Horn was out alot last year and Colston stepped into the #1 spot). But I just think that by playing him as the #2 guy he will be able to....well basically....shit all over #2 corner backs. I know they will be playing him as their #1 guy, but if I were coach I think I might leave him in the 2 spot.
As much as I hate NE i agree with you on Anthony Gonzalez. Has the potential to be a great player and fits in the mold of NE style of offence. Brady's gonna wear secondaries out with this guy. Tough, and not scared to take the big hit. I like him better than Ted Ginn.
