Read a lot here but don't post much, but shouldn't we wait until Game 1 kick-off to judge the entire off-season plan. Seems to me that lots of gems are picked-up all the way to end of training camp - salary cap casualties, trade demands, contract restructuring demands. It looks like we still have tons of salary cap room, a few expendable 2nd tier players, and no crater-sized holes (thanks to picking up 3 quality starter-caliber players) on our team right now. I would think this lends itself to picking up a gem or two before the season actually starts. Feels a little like eating just right and saving room for desert while everyone else gorges on the buffet!
We will lose by at least 2 TD's week one and it won't be a good litmus of our offseason. The Pats will not be challenged by anyone.
This offseason is going to absolutely suck for June 1st cuts. Everybody has cap room and unlike years past you aren't going to see productive starters cut just so a team has a little leeway before camp.
Week 1 anything can happen. However, I do not think the Jets will lose by 2 touchdowns at the moment.
I can't wait to give the Patsies the smack down. You pansies can cry all day about adalius thomas and Moss. I am looking forawrd to watching Jones, Leon, Cotch, and Coles kick some NE Butt come day 1.
