6th and 7th round usually has a few good linemen hidden in them. Hopefully we just picked one.

From the sounds of it, this guy has a lot of upside for a 6th rounder, i'll take it. Hopefully he can pan out

If we're gonna trade JMac, or others, I think this is about the time it could happen. (Those who were hoping to get a 4th for him were being overly optimistic)

I'm from GA so I am biased, but there are some very good players available from SEC, ACC
Kenny Scott, CB, Ga Tech (almost never was thrown on, watched every GT game)

David Irons, CB, Auburn (star of Senior Bowl practices)

Tony Taylor, OLB, Georgia (guy was hurt his first three years but had 8 ints this year as a LB with 100 tackles, watch any Georgia game and he stands out)

    From Rotoworl.com:
    Ben Patrick, Delaware

    Overall Rank: 162
    Ht/Wt: 6-3/252
Combine: 4.76 forty, 35-inch vertical, 9-foot-3 inch broad jump, 4.31 short shuttle
    Pro Day: 4.75 forty

Negatives: Patrick lacks ideal size and speed and doesn't have much upside because of it. He is a bit of a plodder.

Positives: Patrick caught 64 passes and scored six touchdowns as a senior at D-IAA Delaware after transferring from Duke. He is a good all-around athlete and a willing blocker. Beginning with the Senior Bowl, Patrick has enjoyed an impressive postseason.

Verdict: Patrick will have a career as a utility H-back type in the Kris Wilson mold. He could also contribute some on special teams.

I don't know why but I'm liking Mike Tomlin. Pretty good interview. Had to laugh at what he said about picking the punter.

    "Well Baylor punts alot...." :rofl2:

I'm shocked that Thomas is still on the board, maybe he will fall to 235? Unlikely, but I'm hopeful.
