That type of talented depth is what we were headed for originally before we panicked and traded up.

 

I feel weird saying this, but the Lions are having a great draft IMO: Manuel Ramirez and Ikaika Alama-Francis are solid picks and Calvin Johnson is obviously the gem of the draft.

 

Thomas is still there, falling to us.

I'd like Duckworth...but I have to admit I know little about him

 

Who says we panicked? It's fair to say the Jets gambled in this draft, but to say they panicked is, with respect, editorializing.

 

I'd be surpised if they took him in the 6th. 7th maybe...
