I've watched parts of both days of the draft and can't believe how espn and nfl network have confused Bill Belichick with God. Belichick stunk as Cleveland's coach, then went 5-11 his first year with the Pats and then 0-2 his second year until Lewis knocked out Bledsoe. Tom Brady is the real story of that franchise--the Pats would be nothing without him, even with mighty Bill Belichick as their coach. Sure, you've got to give whoever thought to grab Brady in the 6th round credit, but they didn't know it would work out this well. Belichick was nothing until he fortuitously got Brady and he'd be nothing without him. My opinion only.
I agree but apparently he knows it. He has drafted a young tough OL to protect him, a solid fast TE, reloaded the WR corps, brought in a bruising blocking TE and has a nice tough young RB who they drafted a year ago. I think it's safe to say Bellicheck understands Brady is he's meal ticket.
he wasnt that bad in cleveland (he won a playoff game), and he has been a stud d-coord everywhere dont let your hate blind you. sure they got lucky with brady, they still would be a good team with an avg QB, just not as dominant
