That's a positive, they both do look like players who can start immediately. For a CB, Revis is pretty built. Harris hits pretty hard. We still don't have that big NT, but the defense is getting more physical with these 2 guys. LOL, pissed off Jet fan on NFLN.
I don't know, if they package him, then they can get into the 3rd. Maybe JMac+Barton+7th rounder for 3rd rounder?
with such a small draft class, we might just suck it up and pay slightly high money to Barton, Barret and McCareins and keep them. maybe try to rework the contracts a bit, but we might want the depth.
I'd certainly keep Barrett, and I would've before the draft. We've got way too many linebackers, though.
The Raiders traded for Mike Williams and Josh McCown...interesting move. Perhaps this means there's hope for us yet.
I dig the Giants taking Steve Smith. We don't need a starting LB, so there's depth on day 2. Left tackle is still a problem.
Yeh this depth thing really is tough to see, especially on the O-line and we need some more situational playmakers
If we can't get a DT in Soliai now, how about this guy in rd 6 or 7? He sure is big at 374 http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/dt/walterthomas.html
So is Harris suppose to be a ILB or OLB on this team? The clips I saw all showed him on the outside..somebody here said he would line up inside next to Vilma so I'm confused.
we have to find an OL somewhere. i can't where, but we need one. and hopefully they think Blanton or Goddard are ready to step in and start. but, the D will have a lot of potential -- especially if we land Solai (sp?) or maybe even Walter Thomas. we will have added a player in each row of the D, which improves the overall D. cheers
By the way, Raiders just traded a 4th for 2 players, so whomever said that it couldn't be done, read 'em and weep
