I agree for the most part. One more pick wouldn't hurt us.

Yeah, does anyone remember that we couldn't run the ball at all last year and we still have the same awful lineman?

Agreed, although with Harris on board I'd think Barton's expendable....hopefully we can get a 3rd for him.

Is there anything in those rounds even worth trading players for? Everybody was dumping like crazy to move up to the top of the second. I think that's because there is nothing left after this worth taking.

It's not gonna happen, no one wants JMac and you can't trade players during the draft. The amount of time it takes to go through the contracts and what not it would have to happen before the draft.

I hope I never hear the words "weak run defense" and JETS in the same sentence again. I really like this draft.

We have no ammo to trade into rounds 3 or 4. Barton, McCaireins or Barrett will not get us that high. We just need to really hit the UDFA market extra hard this year.

I'm A little disappointed I must say. This staff doesnt seem to have faith in its young backups. First it was last year's 4th rounder that started this mess to get Barlow when we had other options. Now we get Harris when Hobson or even Schlegal has not had a chance to prove themselves on the inside.

    This Harris better be good.

We also had a shit primary running back. No, I'm not talking about Leon. We essentially drafted Darrelle Revis, Thomas Jones, and David Harris today.

Agreed. You can't just stockpile picks every year...once in a while you need to draft quality over quantity, and we drafted two starters at need positions today.

    I'm more than pleased.

We're not getting a third for any of our players. Teams know we're desperate for picks, and we're dangling just decent players out there. No one's biting. At best we can hope for a 4th, realistically, a 5th.

yeah but it doesn't matter if you have Tomlinson back there if your line sucks. And there is no question that our line sucks.

I'm sorry but have you been paying attention to the 50,000 mock drafts in the last two months? There are plentttttty of players in the third round worth taking, same with the fourth. We could easily get a quality WR in the third or fourth, or another offensive lineman. This is a DEEP draft with a 3 rounds of 2nd round quality players.

Other positions were valued higher. Paul Posluszny is a first rounder, but he went second. Harris should have gone where Poz did.
