Key note: Hall beat by Ginn (understandable) and Jarrett(wait, really?)

I like him, but he'll take longer to hit his potential...

He will be in the mix with the other returners as well.

So you'd prefer we do nothing but draft guys to play the run, and end up like the Vikings last year, getting torched by every team. Looks like Trent Green to Ginn, Brady to a bunch of guys, and a possibly improved Losman to Lee Evans for 200 yards a game eh?

    Seriously, knock it off.

If it was 17, that would mean without trading up, we wouldn't have gotten an impact player for the run defense or anything else. Therefore, the Jets made a good move, even by your twisted logic.

Can't go wrong with Blades or Gonzalez. Moses could be good, too, if he's just for gettin' to the QB. Putting too much on his plate would hold him back for a few years.

He thinks he's always right, we should just ignore him.

We picked up several DE's in FA, including Coleman who I pencil in as the starter. There were no good 3-4 NT's available in FA or in the first two rounds of this draft.

With Barrett going and the Pats loading up at WR, CB was obviously our biggest need. We got the best one available rather than settling for 2nd tier talent at 25, and we got good value in our trade.

I am officially done feeding the trolls.

total meaningless sidenote: according to the chart, the value of the picks we got was 1112, the value of the picks we gave up was 1056. We FLEECED 'EM!

I understand your concerns, I told my roommate when we made the pick that this guy had better be frigging good because our front 7 is weak. The idea of trading up for a corner in the first round is not exactly my idea of a great move, but I do not have the info available that the FO does and I don't know how they have these players rated. Now, had this been the previous FO and CS, I would be much more concerned considering they had a penchant for reaching and making dramatic moves in the draft. The current FO/CS combo inspires a little more faith in me because they made some decent moves in last year's draft and they know much moe about what plans they have for the defense and how capable the FA pickups they made so far can be. I am very tentative about this pick, but I am not going to put more faith in mock drafts and scouting websites than I am in a professional scouting team and the CS that uses the acquisitions.

If I was Quinn I would be happy, better chance to excel and have a descent O-line in front of him, less holes on the team

You'd be happy you're only going to make a small fraction of the money you would've had you been picked earlier?

You're comments are so idiotic they don't even deserve a response.

Yes, it makes me so mad because I know we'll be watching him for years on ESPN after he retires. The smug bastiche.

kid just got a shot reality... all his time he was praised as the second coming. now every time is jumping over him, it must be hurting his psyche. Could be a motivation factor for him or not... He also could turn out to be garbage
