Will Millen give the folks at Bang Cartoons the ULTIMATE fodder and draft yet another wide receiver?

I voted no. With the 2 pick the Lions obviously should take the best player in the draft who is Calvin Johnson, just as the Saints had to take Reggie Bush last year despite having Deuce McAllister.

Given a decision to make Matt Millen always does the wrong thing. That's why the Lions are such a pitiful franchise right now.

I went with no he will trade down but probably will get suckered into a low ball deal and take it so that he doesn't have the pressure of taking Calvin Johnson.

If I were Millen, I'd be looking to play as many teams against each other for Johnson as possible. Atlanta, Tampa Bay, and Denver among others are highly interested and they could get a king's ransom of picks to help them at other positions.

No, they won't take one in the first round, but they will take one in the draft.

This might sound crazy but I like it.

Roy williams and Calvin Johnson, how can you d These Two. And mike furrey in the slot ?

    Scary !

I think the lions will try to trade him though.

    We'll see.

It's the correct pick by Detroit. He's the best player in the draft. You cannot let past drafts influence the current draft.
Matt Millen has now hit on his last two 1st rounders (Sims and Johnson).
