peter king once brought up how the cowboys picked russell maryland simply because he was that much better at their pos. of need than anyone else left in the draft. Once Brown and Thomas are picked, who's the next best linemna. They need a good line to justify the EDGE pick, or at least help the guy ouy.
I do understand that but I think Levi Brown is a bit of a reach, and Peterson will be an absolute stud. If they really needed Levi sure that's fine. But Im thinking they could have taking Peterson traded some pics and got Levi (though I do understand how hard it is to trade). Well that's my thought And it's going to be Landry
That appears to be exactly the case and I hope it works out so that the talents of those skill position players in Arizona are not wasted.

Another safety to the Skins with their only day one pick would be insane. Kiper making Landry sound different than Taylor. No... They are the same guy. Neither is a great fit at FS.
Sean Taylor and LaRon Landry within a couple of seasons of each other. Can you afford to do that in the top 10 and still compete? I doubt it.
Never would have happened. He was an absolute need, and no team is going to trade out of the 1st round like you would be suggesting. Its stupid. Peterson would be nothing behind the Oline of Arizona.
It would make the most sense to work some kind of trade down, I agree. It's just unrealistic. IMO, it's just a SLIGHT reach at most. Good pick.... It's gonna be Landry IMO, I agree there..
