Nice Mike Williams and Turner probably too. Just another team we won't pass to make the playoffs next year.

Titans are going to have issues this year. I'd be really surprised if they did better than 8-8.

Williams is a POS, we have a bust on our team named McCariens already, and we got Thomas Jones, seems about equal IMO

So the Titans get (or will soon get) the immortal Mike Williams and a Jets fan cringes in fear?

So you actually think he won't be better in the Titans offense then he was in Detroit's? Really?

And we will still have McCareins on our team as I think the Titans were the only team interested in him. At least we will until we cut him and get nothing.

Vince Young is not the polished passer that Jon Kitna is. Young is worth 10x Kitna at this point but it's not his polish and passing that makes that true.

I think Tennessee's receivers are all going to be a bit out to sea this season regardless of who they are.

A change of scenery and a reuniting with Norm Chow may help, but this transaction is not going to make me think Tennessee now has an edge on the Jets.

Just making a point that wilth Williams and if they get Turner, as expected, they will have a better chance to win more games then we will.

Why does Williams excite you so much? He did nothing with the Lions. It's not like the Lions couldn't pass the ball. Look at the performances of Mike Furrey and Roy Williams.

Agreed, the guy is just not what he was expected to be, I would rather have our recievers and our backs than Turner and Williams

I'll reserve judgement on Williams until he has played for the Titans. Who actually ever did play good for Detroit? It isn't like they made terrible picks with the people they took. They just turned out terrible on their team.

Their first round pick last year had a very good season, but he's a linebacker.
But, as far as the WR position, Furrey lead the NFC in receptions and Roy Williams is a tremendous player. (I know Furrey was not a DET draft pick.)
