I know alot of work has gone into this but I don't see us waiting until pick 89 to grab a CB. I might be wrong on this but I think CB is the most glaring position of need right now and we should be able to grab Ross, or Houston with the 25th pick.

Since I'm only following this draft in depth on day 1 I'll only give my opinions on the first 4 picks:

    1. Justin Blalock OG Texas: My pick as well as many others, I don't think I need to explain this.

2a. Brian Robison OLB Texas: Also a pick of mine. A smart, agressive player who's got great athletic ability and will be a solid all around 3-4 OLB in the pros IMO.

2b. Antonio Johnson DE Miss. St.: First of all, I'll go ahead and corrent draft daddy as he's a DT right now. Has loads of potential but his intelligence and work ethic seem questionable at points. Weighs 310 right now and can probably hold another 10-15 if we want to use him as a NT. Not a bad pick but I still think there's more value to be had here.

    3. Jonathan Wade CB Tennessee: If we don't go corner in the first or second, this is the guy I want in the third. He has loads of potential and is a former WR and track star. With Mangini's knack for whipping CBs into shape, he could become a monster in our system. However, he's not gonna be a guy who can step in and make an immediate impact on day 1.

I would be extremely happy with this draft. However, Tanny will be wheeling and dealing like last year, so by the end of the draft I think we will have another 2 picks. Nothing concrete just an educated guess based on last year. But if the Jets just ended up with these 6 I would be happy.

I think that this is a very realistic draft. I wouldn't be thrilled with it but I would be happy with it.
