    1.Raiders JaMarcus Russell, QB
Jeremy Green says: "Even though the best available player in the draft is WR Calvin Johnson, it would be hard to justify the Raiders not taking JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders have a glaring hole at the QB position and even though he may be running for his life, Russell has the physical tools to step in and play right away."

    2. Lions Brady Quinn, QB
Jeremy Green says: "Even with Calvin Johnson still on the board, the Lions would be wise to follow SportsNation's advice and take Quinn. He would give them a young franchise QB to build around."

    3. Browns Adrian Peterson, RB
Jeremy Green says: "SportsNation, I have to disagree. The Browns have to take OT Joe Thomas here. Their offensive line has been a disaster since coming back into the league. Thomas, along with free agent Eric Steinbach, would give the Browns a left side that can dominate for years to come."

    4. Bucs Calvin Johnson, WR
Jeremy Green says: "The Bucs would be ecstatic if Johnson is on the board. They would get the best player in the draft and he fills a huge need with an aging Joey Galloway and underachieving Michael Clayton as the Bucs two top receivers."

    5.Cards Joe Thomas, OT
Jeremy Green says: "This would be a dream pick for the Cardinals. They would get their franchise tackle in Thomas, who replaces the departed Leonard Davis. Thomas is the second-best player in this draft (behind Calvin Johnson) and is a steal at No. 5."

    6. Skins Gaines Adams, DE
Jeremy Green says: "Washington would like to trade down here, but if they are here they get the best player available to them in DE Gaines Adams. He gives them the pass rusher they lack and will have an immediate impact."

    7.Vikings Ted Ginn Jr., WR
Jeremy Green says: "This is a reach for Ginn Jr. Yes, the Vikings need a WR, but this would be a need pick over value. Ginn Jr., despite the great speed, does not have great size and there are durability concerns. LaRon Landry is a much better pick here. He is a big-time playmaker who can improve the entire Vikings defense."

    8.Falcons LaRon Landry, S
Jeremy Green says: "In Landry, the Falcons would get the best player on the board left and he fills a big need. He is the most complete defensive player on the board. He excells in coverage and in run support and will provide instant leadership to their defense."

    9. Dolphins Levi Brown, OT
Jeremy Green says: "While Miami has many holes to fill on both sides of the ball, none are bigger then the holes on the offensive line. Brown is a solid pick who will start from day one at right tackle, with Vernon Carey moving back inside to offensive guard."

    10. Texans Leon Hall, CB
Jeremy Green says: "Don't be surprised to see the Texans potentially go WR here. They gave up a lot for QB Matt Schaub and he does not have enough weapons around him. Hall is also a great fit, though. He would start opposite Dunta Robinson, which would move DeMarcus Faggins back into his more natural role as the nickel corner."

    11. 49ers Dwayne Jarrett, WR
Matt Williamson says: "Even with two wide receivers already off the board and this clearly being San Francisco's biggest need position, this is very early for Jarrett. Wide receiver certainly is not the 49ers' only need and there are good ones to be had in round two. Prototypical 3-4 DE Adam Carriker from Nebraska or ILB Patrick Willis would have been my selection at this point for the Niners and both players presented much better value. Jarrett struggles to get off the line of scrimmage and this will be a big problem for him early on in the NFL. This isn't to say that Jarrett may not become a fine pro receiver in time, but taking him here is too early considering the circumstances."

    12. Bills Marshawn Lynch, RB
Matt Williamson says: "Lynch makes a lot of sense for Buffalo with this pick. He is a do-it-all type of running back who can be a three-down guy for the Bills right away. Although they have several needs, none are greater than running back, as they do not have someone on their roster who resembles a No. 1 back. Ole Miss ILB Patrick Willis would have been the other logical selection for the Bills, but J.P. Losman needs a supporting cast and Lynch should provide exactly what he needs from the running back position."

    13. Rams Amobi Okoye, DT
Matt Williamson says: "Okoye's stock has risen very fast over the past few months and much of the reasoning behind it is the fact that this is a very weak defensive tackle draft and that he is only 19 years old. What is sometimes overlooked about Okoye's age is that he still has an awful lot to learn about the game. His upside is enormous, but do not be shocked if he comes in and does not have an immediate impact. That being said, this is a good pick for St. Louis, which desperately needs a difference maker in the middle of its defense. Personally, I prefer Alan Branch to Okoye, but this selection makes sense and is difficult to argue with."

    14.Panthers : Greg Olsen, TE
Jeremy Green says: "The lack of production at the TE position has been a glaring need for the Panthers for some time. However, the value here is Patrick Willis from Mississippi. One of the biggest issues with the Panthers' run defense last season was the free-agent departure of Will Witherspoon and the concussions that knocked Dan Morgan out for the season. Morgan is expected to try to come back, but they can't count on that. Willis should be the pick here for Carolina as they try to shore up that LB spot."

    15. Steelers Paul Posluszny, LB
Jeremy Green says: "Pittsburgh is a team that has been built on their ability to run the ball and back it up with exceptional defense. They are starting to get a little older on defense, especially at the LB position. Even though Patrick Willis is still on the board, Poz would give the Steelers a little more versatility in their 3-4 defense as they eventually convert to the 4-3. It should also be noted that had Pittsburgh planned on sticking long term with the 3-4 scheme, that Jarvis Moss would be an excellent fit here."

    16.Packers Dwayne Bowe, WR
Jeremy Green says: "Once Brett Favre opted to return, there was no question they were going to need to surround him with playmakers. With no RB or TE available here, WR is their only option. However, this is far too high to take Bowe or any of the receivers still on the board, who all seem to be on the decline. With a lot of potential defensive playmakers still on the board, Green Bay would desperately try to move back in the draft if this scenario occurs. If they are stuck, Bowe makes as much sense as any of the other receivers they could select."

    17.JaguarsJarvis Moss, OLB/DE
Jeremy Green says: "Moss is a versatile OLB/DE, but I think he is a much better fit in the 3-4 defense. For the Jags, he would have to stand up and play SLB in the 4-3 or as a designated pass rusher in the nickel package. That is a lot to ask a young player to do and could prevent him from being an every-down player early on in their scheme. I think Jamaal Anderson is the better choice here. The Jags need a base 4-3 DE. Reggie Hayward is coming off a left Achilles' tendon rupture and although Paul Spicer gives excellent effort, he does not generate enough pass rush. Anderson is the more complete player based on the scheme the Jaguars run."

    18. Bengals Alan Branch, DT
Jeremy Green says: "You talk about a dream scenario for the Cincinnati Bengals - this would be it. They have holes everywhere on defense except the DE position. DT is one of those glaring needs and if Alan Branch were available, the Bengals might not be able to get to the podium quick enough. Branch gives them the versatility to play both the NT and 3-technique position in their defense, and would add a big run stuffer to help protect that LB unit."

    19. Titans Darrelle Revis, CB
Jeremy Green says: "The Pacman Jones situation is very unfortunate for the Titans organization. His one-year suspension, which will definitely last longer if he does not stay out of trouble, will force their hand on draft day. Darrelle Revis makes a ton of sense here. They get themselves a corner that can play the man schemes they like to employ and a return specialist which is a huge void with Pacman out. Anderson or Willis would have made a lot more sense if Pacman were in the mix, but his suspension is forcing them to fill a need they were not planning on having."

    20.Giants Aaron Ross, CB
Jeremy Green says: "While I have pretty much been on board with you, 'Nation, you guys just lost me with this selection. The Giants have two major needs on defense - LB and CB. While Aaron Ross is going to be a fine football player and the Giants corner position has been shaky at best, you can't go corner here when there is a top-12 talent still on the board in Patrick Willis. Willis is an athletic playmaking LB and if you look at recent draft trends (A.J. Hawk, Ernie Sims, DeMeco Ryans), the LB position has produced huge first-year production. Willis should have been a lock here for the Giants."

    21. Broncos Jamaal Anderson, DE
Jeremy Green says: "If this scenario were to play out, Denver could not be any more thrilled. He is the second-best pass rusher in the draft and fills the No. 1 need on the Denver roster. Anderson is a versatile DE that can play on the strong or open side and shows solid edge quickness. Anderson would be the disruptive edge player Denver has been seeking. More pressure from Anderson equals more errant throws for Champ Bailey and Dre' Bly to get their hands on. Anderson is a perfect fit in their defense if he is there. . . and that will be a big if."

    22. Cowboys Robert Meachem, WR

Jeremy Green says: "Picking at No. 22, Dallas is in that area where you start thinking about a player that has maybe fallen - such as LB Patrick Willis - or going with the best available athlete. Dallas can do that because this is a team that does not have a lot of glaring needs right now. I like the selection of Meachem here. Dallas has some age in its WR group and Meachem is an excellent athlete with big time speed. As a No. 3 WR for Dallas as a rookie, Meachem's speed would really open up the field for Terrell Owens, Terry Glenn and TE Jason Witten. I really like this selection."

    23. Chiefs Joe Staley, OT
Jeremy Green says: "The Chiefs first need as it has been for the past 2-3 years is WR. However, the sudden retirement of Will Shields and the loss of FA OT Jordan Black has the Chiefs line in disarray. Everything the Chiefs have been able to accomplish in recent years has started up front with one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. Over the past two seasons they have lost perennial Pro Bowl players in Willie Roaf and Will Shields and for that reason I like the selection of Staley. He is an excellent athlete who is a solid pass blocker. He has the frame to add 10-15 pounds which will improve his run blocking skills. The Chiefs need a playmaker, but the O-line has been their staple on offense and for that reason I think Staley is a great pick here."

    24. Patriots Reggie Nelson, S
Matt Williamson says: "Safety is clearly a major need for the Patriots, along with cornerback and inside linebacker, and New England obviously has a trust in players from the University of Florida. This is a fine pick, don't get me wrong, but with Patrick Willis still on the board, he should have been the guy. Inside linebacker is a slightly bigger need than safety and there are still a few impressive safety prospects on the board such as Brandon Meriweather and Michael Griffin for New England's second pick in round one. Nothing against Nelson, who is a ball hawk and a very good prospect, but Willis is the better pick."

    25.Jets Patrick Willis, LB
Matt Williamson says: "All I can say is "Finally". Cornerback was clearly the much bigger need than inside linebacker and Chris Houston had to be attractive at this spot, but getting Willis this late is simply exceptional value. He should team with Jonathan Vilma to give the Jets a fine pair of playmaking inside linebackers. It will be paramount for the Jets to get more beef up front to better cover these two up, but there was zero reason to pass on a player like Willis at this stage of the draft."

I can't believe Nelson lasted that long! I'm a big fan of his and think him and Rhodes could be sick together, but, if willis and Carriker are there as well then theres no sense trying to trade in fron tof the Pats cuz either way both teams are gonna get a player they both want and need

How did Willis fall that far in the voting? I almost choked when I saw Carriker, who I think is the best 3-4 DE in the draft and then had to pass on him to take Willis who is an easy top 10 player and the best linebacker.

There's no way on earth the Pats let Willis get through to the Jets. They have two aging inside linebackers in Bruschi (nearly retired) and Vrabel. If Willis is there on the 24 they jump on it so hard the ground shakes.
