    1. I don't even want to tell you the type of people we left on the board by taking Olsen but here goes: Blaylock, Houston, Bowe, Jarrett, Spencer.

2a. Can't really argue with the Woodley pick, Moses was on the board but it's all personal preference there.

2b. Wouldn't be upset about Hughes, the best CB left after him would be Wade from Tennessee. I just think it is funny because he was our projected 1st round a while back and was admittedly overrated. At the end of the second round he could present some value.

    3. I think this is the highest I've seen Soliai but he would be a great NT prospect and you don't want to let those kinds of players slip by because they are so rare. The question is will he be an upgrade over what we already have in Robertson and Pouha and Tui.

He is a cover 2 guy, not what we need, bad choice here, I like lots more CB prospects than Hughes

Speed, Smart and undersized, he is my guy if he is there in the second, will be able to run with the best of them, but will have soem troubles with the Jump Ball, David Irons is another Brick with athleticism so he is not for me. Fred Bennett looks good to me

Josh Wilson would be a better choice at # 59. Only knock on Wilson, is his height, if he was 2 inches taller, he would be a Rd 1 pick.

Also like Wilson, also like that draft. Another CB name to throw out there is my personal favorite: AJ Davis.

Ouch..... NFLDraftCountdown is my best source for anything about the NFL Draft, but this mock didn't cut it at all for me...

    - Greg Olsen? Sorry, I can't get behind the idea of drafting Greg Olsen or any other TE at #25. Can someone please tell me why Chris Baker isn't a good TE?
    - Lamar Woodley is a fine pick.
    - I don't like Daymeion Hughes, especially not over Josh Wilson.
    - Ugh, another huge Utah NT? Let's wait and see if the first one pans out. I wouldn't cry over this pick though...

And as for Greg Olsen, if he ran about a 4.7 or 4.75, he wouldn't be discussed a whole lot for the #25 pick.

If the draft goes down that way I do believe I would throw something against a wall. I'm ok with Woodley and well, thats about it. That draft doesn't reflect needs at O-Line and over estimates our needs at TE. Also, the last thing we really need is to take a NT, especially since we have Pouha. This draft was crap. Cheers.

yeah but he ran a 4.51 so he is being discussed and would definitely be the best guy to take if available at #25. Hes a huge upgrade over Baker and would add a new dimension to the Jets short passing offense. how can you not like him?

Very very nice for us, But I can't imagine passing up on Dwayne Jarrett for Greg Olson if he's availible........

    Other than that very nice.

I do like Greg Olson though, just not if Jarrett is still on the board....

The point is that a 1/4 of second makes too much of a difference...

    IMO, he's overrated.

It's not like he wasn't going to get drafted before that. He was still going to go early to mid second round. So he maybe jumped 10 spots in a murky part of the draft. After pick 20 or so it is tough to separate the players very distinctly anyways.

Full disclosure, I don't want the third Olsen twin.

    I hate this draft.

I think Olsen is hugely underrated by most Jets fans (OMG WE FAILED LIKE 10 YEARS AGO NEVER TRY AGAIN!!!11111), but there is no chance in hell I would pass him over for Spencer, Blalock, Harrell, Jarrett, Houston, and so on.

Actually, it's not even that I'm mad at. I actually LIKE Olsen. The difference between him and every TE in the draft is pretty big (as far as being a recieving threat). The difference between say...Blalock and Sears is not as huge.

Olsens blocking is below average, and his downfield threat ability is very overrated.

Just ask Green Hurricane how he feels about Olsen!! IMO, a total "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" player. I've seen too many dropped passes and alligator arms from Olsen to make me ill.

    Yeah good point.

If a huge Miami Hurricane fan doesn't want us to take Greg Olsen, than something is wrong.
