I'd prefer not to lose 2 of 3 at home to the horrible O's.

Good work ARod. I'm really happy he managed to pull off that walk. It would have screwed him had he made an out, unfair as that might be.

Wow, how about the patience? Where was it the whole game before ARod's at-bat?

This team just pisses me off. What's going to happen against a real team like the Twins?

the only guarantee is that the cold weather excuse can be put to bed because they are playing in doors. Honestly though,i think it's gonna get better very soon.

Matsui is going to the DL. I don't think it's going to get good enough yet.

At least Damon will be back. Now Cano and Cabrera can sit low in the lineup. The bottom of order is going to be painful for a while.

    Damon CF
    Jeter SS
    Abreu RF
    ARod 3B
    Giambi DH
    Posada C
    Cano 2B
    Mienky/Phelps 1B
    Cabrera LF

Sadly, this should still be a very strong lineup. But the bottom 3 is shaky right now. Even Giambi isn't hitting as well as I would like.

But the lineup isn't even the biggest worry. It's the damned pitching. We can't get any performance from these guys. How do we fix it? I don't know. If we don't, we're in for a really long ride.

We need Wang back, and Karstens would be a nice addition too. Pettite and Moose need to pitch into the 6th-7th. Fortunately, we're missing Santana out there, so it's a break we really need right now.

There's nothing to fix with the pitching. Mussina and Pettitte were not going to pitch well given the weather and their spring training workload. They'll be fine. Wang will be back soon. There's nothing to worry about.

dont worry Alio, the team doesnt suck, they just need to get their shit together....its obvious we have guys who can play, they just arent producing yet and our pitching hasnt come around...it will eventually
