really, his ground balls have been finiding holes every time, and one of his best swings turns into an out.
I'm obnoxious and argumentative? I posted in ONE thread, and you Mets/Yanks can't do anything but laugh when I say who I think will win the division, I don't think that's very high post quality. The knowledgeable guy thing I was being serious, he made a lot of good points I agree with. Do you think it's impressing anyone when you read into my posts to see what kind of internet 'personality' I have? Just because I don't ramble on and rack up post counts on game day threads saying "nice run leon" doesn't mean I'm stupid. But yeah, I'm REAL argumentative. I said that we made a few mental mistakes, bro. go braves
I couldn't care less what your "personality" is. You made a post claiming that mental mistakes by the Braves were the cause of the Mets having a four run lead in the game. I responded with a post that was much closer to the truth. Rather than ignore it, you responded to the post with a sarcastic comment. I then pointed out that your original post didn't make much sense. You then told me what I say in football threads (?), and 24 hours later are still bringing it up. That seems pretty argumentative to me. Like I said, if your ego is too fragile to handle having a post corrected, that's hardly my problem.
I guess Willie wanted to stick with the regular rotation early on, but Glavine could've pitched against atlanta friday night on 4 days rest or today on 5. maybe you want to give glavine as long a rest as possible before a start in turner field?
He obviously wasn't too great today, but he had actually pitched well in Atlanta the last couple of years. I don't see any real problem with letting Perez get his first start in there on Friday (especially given how well he ended up pitching), but it sure seemed like Glavine was in there today at least a couple of batters too long. Smoltz clearly outpitched him. Add in mistakes (Green's error) and some bad luck (the 90 foot RBI hit off Smith, Green's line drive out to end the game), and that's a loss.
LoDuca gets the day off, so we get to see how Wright handles the 2-spot. Wait, what's that you say? Valentin? Valentin's hitting second? Oh. *brain pop, fizz, drool*
