He batted .509 and slugged .782 in the playoffs against the yankees. That's failing miserably? Why don't you say what you mean. Until he does it FOR the yankees he hasn't done a thing. Which is ridiculous. He will get them to the playoffs again, let the other bums win them.

hopefully, that win in that fashion was just what the doctor ordered. I am happy for Arod,i think he's a good guy and with all he has had to deal with handles things well.
I'm glad that most of the time i only threaten to turn the TV off.

Torre and Cashman. This is his team now. He traded Johnson and Sheffield and got nothing in return. He his treating the money like it's his own. He loses out on Dice-k and promptly overpays for this bum that pitched today. He will hope Arod leaves and get rid of Giambi after next year. And replace them with who?

Mixed emotions now. All he needed was a two run single and he had to hit a freaking grand slam. Goes to show a-rod pads his statistics.

Matsui is out until next weekend. Damon will be back in CF tomorrow, so Melky will be in LF. I guess Abreu is fine after the HBP in the 9th.

The only reason I can think of for Cairo being in is that Joe is giving him that one more day to prepare for the turf in Minny.

Why is Phelps hitting above Cano? Man, this is a weak lineup today.

Well played by Nieves. Kept his eye on the ball, and never worried about the dugout. I like seeing that.

Jeez, ARod's has a great season's worth of numbers against the Orioles.

    40 homers, 120+ RBI, and a .300+ Average.
