What do "getting on track" and "making people happy" have to do with each other? He's probably the best player in the game, but he's failed an awful lot at the plate when it can make a critical difference in the game. What he did today is what the player he was born to be does.
I cant believe I saw that GS...so clutch by A-Rod.... Ill make a prediction that A-Rod, like P. Manning did this year, will get the monkey off his back and finally live up to the hype, by performing when it counts... he'll take the Yankees and win the WS...his 1st WS....I have a good feeling about this..
it will, give it time... its more saying that A-Rod will finally produce in the playoffs this year when in past years he has faltered miserably...i see the resurrection of his life in NY if he can do so...and i think he will
Alex is a stat whore. All he needed was a 2-run homer to get the job done and hit a grand slam instead.
I hope you're right...But he has given me, and others, no indication of that since Game 3 of the 04' ALCS...I don't know what you see, but hopefully it happens.
