    In defense of Jorge, yeah, he could have blocked a bit better, but the control by all pitchers tonight was terrible. Lack of grip probably affected a lot of pitches, and allowed a lot of wild stuff. Not that it excuses passed balls, but a catcher shouldn't have that many opportunities in one game.

    Those same conditions didn't seem to affect the Rays, 1 wild pitch by Tampa.

    3 errors, 3 wild pitches, a pass ball and 10 LOB.

    Midseason form already?

    No, play this bad of defense and not take advantage of opportunites with already 10 LOB?

    well that game was ass. why was pettite restricted? imo he was settling in. Is it me or does Torre always pull the plug too soon?
