I'm not sure you understood my post. I'm suggesting that rather than setting backup o-lineman as one of the backup positions to select, you would throw that into the mix of "position of choice". Using this idea, one would have the choice of either getting a nickleback or a lineman (for example).

 

I don't really understand what you mean by that......my proposal is 5 backups on O and 5 backups on D

For Offense: Backup QB, Backup RB, 3rd WR, Backup O-lineman, Position of choice on Offense

For Defense: Pass rush Specialist (DE or OLB that you bring in on 3rd downs), Nickelback, Backup DT or DE, Backup Linebacker (OLB or MLB), Position of choice on Defense

What do you think we should do?

 

I like your idea, I just don't see the point of having o-line as one of the positions - same with d-line seeing how you have pass rush specialist. Just my opinion.

I think what he's saying is that instead of drafting a backup O-lineman, one can draft a second player at a position of choice. So its like

QB, RB, WR, Position of choice, Position of choice

I think I like that more, because there really aren't many lineman at this stage that can play multiple positions, as he said.

Are you sure I pick now? The clock stops at 10 pm and starts up again at 8 am so you may want to configure your picks assesment

Jesus this is a mess. I never know which way the picks are going. I guess I'll pick now. People used to PM me when I was on the clock but that has stopped. If I'm not supposed to pick, disregard.
