2 seems about right to me. Santana and Halladay are the no brainer answers. Then you've got Liriano and Weaver who pitched even less then Kazmir but were probably a bit better .
with the way the team has been put together recently, and the certain amount of success we enjoyed last year, I miss kazmir less and less.... yes it was a bad trade at the time..but whatever, he's gone and stuck in TB.......and I am hopeful that all of the potential we have in our young arms currently will make me forget him even more in the near future
Just as a note to the rest of Mets fans: Tomorrow night is going to be the best game of the series as the Mets face brand new starter and former Met closer Braden Looper. Why the hell would they be stupid enough to start him against a former team that hates him, and is one of the better offenses in the NL? They should've thrown Wainwright against us, and then had Looper go Friday in a defense ball park against a bad offensive team (@Houston).
I think the first time or two through the order he'll pitch well, and then start to fall apart in the 4th or 5th inning. And yes, that's where HR's will be flying out to right field.
