I agree, a Rd 7 pick is worth a gamble. Russell is defintely not in playing shape, at least at the combine. I hope he's getting ready for the draft. When I saw Gary last fall around Oct, he looked very thick.

I sent my round 7 draft board to Jabba and Wolfe Tonne.

My picks will probably come up while I am at work.

thanks Warhound...i drafted McClain because we only have 1, possibly 2 ( tutt) FBs and its not like we have a great one at that, this way it creates some competition in camp...McClain is raved about and his blocking and receiving ability are pretty darn good..

I thought we could use another TE, but by the time I wanted one, Patrick was taken off the board so i went another way...

either way, i would be happy if the Jets draft went this way...i can only imagine what our team would look like if it went this way...a bunch of high character players (except Wright?) and leaders who can contribute right away IMO....Wright who has some character issues but has absurd talent and couldnt be passed on at 63...im very satisfied, others may not be...thats ok...im confident that Mr.T and Mangini will come up with a better draft than this anyway

Like I said I liked your draft, but there isn't much need for competition at FB. We got Barnes for what he's capable of doing -- blocking. It seems that Mangini's offense doesnt include a running/catching fb cause thats what we had in Askew. From a BPA standpoint, McClain was a good choice IMO.

The Bills {Vision} are OTC, I sent a PM. I made the pick for the Bears after 4 hours.

And really, don't worry, these guys move slow enough on their own ;)

Sorry JetsFanPA, but 4 hours were up. I explained why I went with Podlesh in the picks only thread, but suffice to say you didn't an exemplary job with this draft and filled all of your weak spots except punter.

    Giants are OTC till 6:40.

If the Giants pick wasn't made, which it has not been. I don't see why you can't change the pick. No harm no foul.

I missed my pick by 10 minutes once before, and I couldn't change it, so I guess it's locked in, but don't worry about it... Podlesh is a great value and a special teams ace with 4.5 speed. I'll take it.

I got the PM you just sent though, so I don't know what's up. I'll have to look into that...

Well, listen. WW85 has let people in the past change their pick as long as no one else has picked after. Its RD 7 so I don't see why its a huge deal. I felt punter was your biggest area that wasn't addressed. The best on the board was Podlesh... I spent a good hour trying to figure out who I wanted to take if I were you based on needs and this is what I came up with.

If you want to change it, its fine by me.

Also, great job with the draft grades in that other thread. A real delight to read.

No one has been allowed to change the pick once it was made by someone else after time was up. We set that precedent from the beginning, and we can't break it, 7th round or not.

I was under the impression that you guys let that move slide. Since you didn't, I stand corrected.

I would like to thank Wolfe Tonne for making my last selection.

He and Jabba also have my draft board for the Jaguars if I am not around later.

Haha The Boise St QB/WR connection goes back to back. Nice coincidence.
