why would you turn one of the top LT prospects of this years draft to a TE?

It is much easier to draft a decent TE than it is a good LT. Staley is projected to go Late 1st into the 2nd round.

why would u keep any player with 4.75 speed (faster than a lot of TE) and put him on the OL even if he played that position in college? This is the NFL Baby things change. He can play TE, has speed and can block. I know some people have to agree with me. By the way if Mangini drafts him I guarentee he will play TE. I guarentee it!

I think you're crazy. This guy is probably the 2nd or 3rd best OT prospect in this year's draft. Why change a guy's position from one where he has huge talent and upside to one where he may or may not fit?

Are you suggesting receiver eligible tackle or full time TE?

something we dont know about Staley.... CAN HE CATCH?

might want to make sure of that before you go converting a top OT prospect to TE

Notice in jtrains threads he responds to like the first guy who refutes him but then when everyone goes against him he kinda just disapears...

The jtrains haven't been that abundant this offseason. I bagged a few last week but I'd be lucky to make some mittens out of their scrawny pelts. Hell, last offseason alone I bagged enough jtrains to make a few cloaks and carpet my den.

There is so much more to being a Tight End than running a 4.75 40-time... So much more.......

Other than being 6-6, there really isn't anything great about him from what I've heard, which is too bad.

    In terms of weaknesses...
"Does not run good routes or know how to get open...Work ethic and intelligence are question marks...Hands and focus are shaky......Lacks toughness and he may not have a football player's mentality...Marginal blocker...Does very little after the catch...Has some trouble staying healthy...Might have to make a position change."

That covers just about everything it takes to be a successful WR.

He has straight line speed, but in no way does he have any chance at making the lateral movements that a tightend needs to make at that size.

  19. Haha, c'mon man. It isn't even worth acknowledgement.
