With Michael Bush's recent surgery on his leg is it wise for him to come out this year from college. And even if he still comes out for the draft does that effect how far down he will drop. Someone to me that is getting surgery on his leg so late by the time the season comes around he still wouldnt have fully recovered. So all in all he is a big Gamble to any team that selects him.

your seriously asking if this is going to drop him. of course.

before this year bush was a top 15 pick. broken leg, now a late first to late 2nd. with the additional surgery your looking at him possibly becoming a 4th round pick.

he's sposed to be drafted for immediate impact, now it looks like he'll have 2 months before he can even effectively rehab. someones gonna take a flyer on him and coach him up for a year.

    we'll see.

I really wanted Bush...before we got Thomas, but whats to say if for some crazy reason he falls to us later we draft him. What a great RB trio! Thomas, Leon, and Bush. Thats scary

Yeah I don't think he'll get drafted if this happens. He can't wait another year since he was a senior. He was considering coming out last year as a Junior but stayed in because he knew that Reggie Bush's value would make his fall significantly. He's a good back when he's healthy but he's a way off from being healthy. Sooo.... He can stay in college another year and just rehab and get healthy but if he does ever get drafted he'll go VERY late. He would be wise to sit out for now. No team is gonna drop money on his contract when he's not playing. Its just not smart.

If I were Michael Bush, I'd stay an extra year in college and rehab my ass off. Then come out in 2008 if he's healthy. If not, I hope he had a decent major.

doesn't this depend on whether he's hired an agent or not? If he has, he can't go back - that's my understanding, at least.

He'll get drafted just like Mcghee. If he is there in the third round, he wouldn't be a bad pickup.

Bush is overrated. I don't get how a 6'2 240+ guy runs like such a girl on the field. He should be knocking guys over, not trying to be Reggie or Barry.

I don't think he's going to be a good pro at all.

*Fake edit* Lol @ "Bush is overrated."
