btw shouldnt you be hiding scared in a corner from a tigers fan & a russian mail order bride? maybe the oompa loompa will stick up for you again
Well they did play in the league that ended up winning the WS... Oh wait thats right the NL won the WS.. Huh which league was better again??
Why would we even bother. No matter what Yankees fans say, Mets fans will always spew some idiot crap back, and the fights go on and on. We'll just keep enjoying our dozens of titles. You guys hang on to your big year...
did the red sox not win it in 2004, and the white sox in 2005? Not so sure the Red Sox were the same sort of team as the others.

Yeah, Keith was so much better than Donnie. Now if you want to go defensively, we could probably argue all afternoon. That would be a far more subjective argument though.
Hernandez could party. He could hit the rock like nobodies business. Really, he was a vacuum cleaner out there. Nobody could get down the lines like him.
Again, this is a subjective subject, like I said. I could argue all day that the plays Mattingly made at first base were better than any other first baseman I've ever seen play the game. Does that make it true? Of course not, it's subjective. You can't argue someone's defensive prowess, or contribution to the team via # of Gold Gloves. We've already established that in various threads, usually in regard to Jeter, and usually led by a Mets fan. So again, I maintain that arguing defensive superiority for either of them is a lost cause. Arguing total value to his respective team would probably allow Mets fans more leeway toward a win, since the Mets won a ring under Keith, and Mattingly was the only player truly worth going to the park to see in the 80s. But Mattingly still has the advantage of superior numbers in a shorter timespan, making him the overall better player. (BTW: I could also argue that Mattingly played the 2 more years worth of games that Keith did, he'd have those extra 2 Gold Gloves.)
those 2 years would have been decline years bringing his #'s down.besides he couldnt even tie his own shoes anymore. what a loser mattingly was,is.
0-2 to Scutaro. Mo sets. He delivers...A fly ball hit deep to left! It is high..It is far...It...HITS THE FOUL POLE!!! Home Run!!! GAME OVER!!! SERIES OVER!!!!!!! WEST COAST TRIP OVER!!!!! that is the most retarded statement in the world. both teams made the playoffs and lost, mets lost in a inferior national league.
