This is probably a lost cause and is a little whiny but I'm going to make the case anyway: There is too much leniency about what belongs in the Jets forum. I know it's the off-season. And, if someone can tie a topic to the Jets, then I'm fine. For instance, if you want to start a thread that says something like "Michael Bush's Combine Report" and then put something in your post that says "Do you think this guy would be a good fit on the Jets?" Then I would be OK with that, even though it really does belong in the draft forum. But now people aren't even pretending these threads are Jets-related. Can the mods move/close more of these threads? I feel like I'm one of the few people that likes to check out the Draft and NFL forums while most people just go to Jets and Bullshit. That would be different if there were real boundaries for what threads can go in what forums.
I think anything related to the NFL in general and our division should be in the Jets forum, it's all Jets related. I absolutely hate the new setup of news and NFL stuff in a different place.
Yeah I dont see the true purpose of the game threads and Jets newswire being their own seperate forums, considering for the most part neither would get much posts outside the football year.
If I go to a the Jets forum, I don't want to go there to read about the Browns or Lions, unless one of their players pertain to the Jets.
There should be a Ty Law Forum where the insane multipost threads go to infuriate the people who just can't seem to figure out there's already been 900 threads on a certain topic.
I know the draft is the only relevant thing going on right now but the entire Jets forum is nothing but draft topics right now. Say what you want about Dino but he was good about moving those threads to the Draft forum. Can the mods please either start moving those threads to the Draft forum or just shut down the Draft forum entirely?
