good pick there......as for how this draft has been, are you guys picking the best team for now or the future or a little of both......i am picking my guys pretty much with the attitude that we are gms of an expansion draft and everyone is available.....of course taking the younger guys has a lot more value for the most part

I'm trying to get a little bit of both to an extent...If it's between two players that are close in value, I'm gonna grab the younger guy, but I'm not going to hold someone's age against them. However, if I don't think a player can be productive for the next three or four years, I'm not gonna pick them

It better not be drafting for one year.. Or I would have drafted a team full of gritty vets.

I'm drafting my team under the assumption that the NFL is starting all over again, and I'm building for future/repeated success.

This has been my philosophy as well but I won't pass up on an older guy if I feel I'm getting really good value. You can't have all young bucks.

If Ty Law made it back to me I was taking him this round.

depends on the useful life. Someone playing on either side of the line, or a QB or LB.. can last deep into their 30s, and some high skill WRs. Corners and RBs are moments from retirement when you choose them that late. Ty Law has a year left in him, tops.

I don't know about that. He's still playing at a high level as a #1 corner. If his skills start to decline he could be moved to a #2, then nickel back. He's older, but as long as he's driven I could see him being productive for a few more years.

He would have been a good #2 corner IMO.

There is going to be 2 different polls, one for the best team in 2007 and then one for the best team in 2012.
