I select S Michael Lewis, San Francisco 49ers.

A top run stopping safety with solid cover skills. Only flaw is that he occasionally gets beat deep - but what SS doesn't?

LT William Thomas (Formerly known as Tra Thomas)

Thomas recovered nicely from a serious-back injury in 2005, starting all 16 games last year. The two-time Pro Bowler is only 31, and can anchor my line for another 3 or 4 years.

I select LT Luke Petitgout, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Will be 31 when the season begins, still has some years left in him, a good veteran player.

    Edit: Messed up the image

I select CB Ricky Manning Jr. of the Chicago Bears.

Most people will remember him picking off 3 passes in the NFC title game a few years ago.

    RT George Foster

A solid tackle on the right side, and at only 27, will be a mainstay on my line.

I select OG Pete Kendall for 2 reasons:

    1. I don't have a New York Jet yet.
    2. He's an strong force in the running game, and can snap at center if my center goes down.

    (couldn't find a better picture)

OLB-Channing Crowder-A very young, and very solid player. Who I think only has room to get better. Surrounded by such a good D-line and a run stopper like Mitchell he'll be able to roam free and wreak havoc.Made a switch from MLB to OLB and posted his first 100 tackle season(104) in his 2nd year after making 85 in 14 starts his rookie year.

DE-Mike Rucker. He's been as productive and consistent as anyone in the league the last 8 years. little to no notice of a drop off either. around 300 tackles and 52.5 sacks hes a well balanced and agressive player.

in need of a no. 1 corner, I had Ty Law in mind. All I do now is look across the field and take his counter part and select:

Ten selects Nose Tackle Jason Ferguson of the Dallas Cowboys.
Ferguson was quietly one of the better interior linemen last season. He turns 33 later this year but he's got a good 5 years on the other nose tackles I was looking at.

    Elvis Dumervil- DE

8.5 sacks as a rookie backup. Great upside as I continue to build for the future.

I select Andre Gurode, C, from Dallas to complete my offensive line.

Another big offensive lineman specializing in run blocking. Also a player getting progressively better until Haynesworth cleated him. Didn't effect him much though as he came back from it and played fine.
