I selected Sears for the Texans! The Texans have so many needs, and since some good O-Line just came of the board, I didn't want to lose Sears. The Texan's O-Line is very weak.

Honestly if the Raiders aren't going to take Quinn or Russell, I think they are better off, giving Walter (who was a 3rd round choice) than using a first day pick on any of these second tier QB prospects.

Look guys, I realize why you're picking my Bears draft apart. Having 2 teams I'm very unfamiliar with is tough. Detroit I think I've done ok with. I took Hunt as a back up RB since TJ is with the JETS. I would have done way better with any AFC team or a NFC team local to me. I hope I'm not messing you guys up because this has been fun but mind boggling.

I selected Michael Bush for the Vikings, mainly because a lot of the guys who were on my board were taken just before me. The Vikings have needs along the OL, DL, and WR. I helped the Dline in my first pick. With this pick i wanted to select either Ugoh or Staley but both were already picked. I would have selected Sidney Rice, but he was picked too. There were 2 other WR on the board that i felt had 2nd round talent, however Bush was just too tempting.

The new trend in the league is tandem backs, and the downhill running style of Bush compliments Taylor well. I especially like this pick because at the beginning of the season Taylor dominated the Defense, but as the season went on(ie Jets game) he was mediocre at best. With another solid back to take some carries off his shoulders, Taylor will be able to produce late in the season in the middle of a playoff push.

Vision, do you see Anthony Spencer as a OLB or DE for the Bills? Because I always thought he would be a 3-4 OLB and a 4-3 DE? But the Bills, who run a 4-3, definitely don't need a DE as it is one of their strongest positions on the defensive side. So are you thinking Spencer will play OLB in the 3-4, because he would seem to be too slow and big to play there? What do you plan to do with him?

I like him as a 4-3 DE for the Bills, not a need right now but I saw him as by far the best player on the board and amazing value at that point in the draft. I was surprised to still see him available, I don't see him getting out of the first in real life.

Don't worry about "messing up" the draft. Surprising picks make it more interesting. If you need any help, this site is very complete on draft player rankings: www.nfldraftcountdown.com

I use it and I'm sure many other people in this mock do too.

I wanted him for my steelers.

Well, definitely a good value, but won't get any playing time behind Schobel and Kelsay, who are both signed long-term and are pretty young, so I don't know about the pick.

    I wanted him for Atlanta....

Oh well, with Lehr gone, this team needs a guard. Ben Grubbs can also play tackle, which is great since Wayne Gandy is about 37.

It really depends on your draft philosophy whether or not Spencer was a good pick for the Bills. If you are just gonna draft for need than no not the best pick but if you go by BPA than it is a great pick.

The guy I was going to take at a position of need for the Bills probably would have been a little early for him, so I went with who I felt was by far the BPA.

I guess but if the BPA will never get a sniff of playing time, then what is the point?

you can never have enough pass rushers... especially when they are as talented as Anthony Spencer who will get playing time..

It was tough choosing between Leon Hall and Jarvis Moss in the 1st round for Pittsburgh. Even though I think LB/DE is the bigger need, CB is definitely the 2nd biggest, and we needed both of those in the 1st and 2nd round. Hall I figured was a bit of a better prospect, and also more NFL-ready than Moss. So I had to get a DE/LB here, and Victor Abiamiri is the perfect guy. He is athletic enough to rush as an OLB, and has a knack for getting to the quarterback. Or he is big enough to line up as a prototypical 4-3 DE. With this new coach, the Steelers will probably be running 60-40% or less 4-3, so they need someone who can play both DE in a 4-3 and LB in a 3-4. This guy is perfect.

Longtime Packers Fullback, William Henderson, retired and they lost Ahman Green .. Brian Leonard was the perfect fit because he can stay on the field all day at either position, and Favre will love him as an outlet in the passing game as well .. he starts immediately for the Packers, from day one, be it as a RB, be it as a FB, or a little of both

He's also a BIG Northeast Power Back with athleticism .. they'll love this kid at Lambeau .. he has John Facenda {Lombardi's Packers!} written all over him .. and he already has the Lambeau/Leonard Leap down-packed to a science
