Jarrett was my third choice after Leon Hall (taken two spots ahead of me) and Adam Carriker (taken one spot ahead). Ginn has a high bust factor IMHO. Also, Meachem has been rising but I still feel that Jarrett is a better player.

Here is a bio on Jarrett:

    Dwayne Jarrett
    Height: 6-4 | Weight: 219 | 40-Time: 4.60

    Official Bio

    Strengths:
Terrific size...Long arms...Athletic and agile...Fantastic ball skills...Excellent body control...A great leaper who will go up and catch the ball at its highest point...Has big, soft hands...Will make the tough catch in traffic...Tracks the ball well over his shoulder...A terror in the redzone...A solid blocker...Runs well after the catch...Has always been clutch in big situations...Was extremely productive his entire career.

    Weaknesses:
Does not have the timed speed you look for...Needs to get stronger and be more physical...Does not get much separation...Won't run away from anyone and isn't a deep / vertical threat...Dealt with some injuries in college...Has minor character concerns...May profile as more of a #2 target at the next level and not a true #1.

    Notes:
His cousin, Desmond Belton, is a junior wide receiver at Idaho...He will draw the inevitable comparisons to former Trojan Mike Williams and even though they are somewhat similar that isn't fair...Highly decorated college star whose production was second to none...Has almost everything you look for other than speed and how fast he runs in workouts will be the key to how high he is ultimately drafted.

Yea, thanks alot WW, i was concerned that I wouldnt be here, and i wasnt sure who was on the board. I dont know why i considered Posnuszny and Olsen over Blalock at first, who was the clear cut winner...ive been looking at too many mocks, thats my problem...

Blalock will make our Oline one player away from being complete and dominant for the next decade, improving our chance to take out O to the next level....you guys will see my plan eventually through the draft

Im not a big fan in how the Bucs draft is going so far, really disappointing...just not the right players for where im picking. I decided to go with the BPA IMO, Rice and Clayton could be a potent 1-2 punch.

I actually think the Trent Edwards pick could be the steal of the draft. With the right coaching he could end up being a great Qb..

I like what the scouts are saying about him.

I've got to quit overthinking these things like Jabba said. :eek:hmy:

I took McDonald for da Bears because of Tank Johnson going to jail. Good move or bad?

I hated playing against Trent Edwards, My HS played him every year in football, and he was a pain in the ass to contain....we beat him 2 out of the three years, but he was a such a pain, that was the time when he was the QB prospect in the nation going into college

There are some really nice players available at pick #37, the Jet's traded pick. I'm still glad we got TJ.

Could I do reviews/grades of each pick made so far? I'll write and post them in another thread if so.

That would be cool, if you want you could wait for my next pick (2). How long does DITK have until he runs out? I have to leave in about 15 minutes, does someone want make it for me? Ill PM you.

Yeah, wait until the end of the 2nd round to do it, so you can evaluate every teams first few picks, not just a select few. Also, the Bears didn't select Marcus Thomas, what are you talking about? Did he change his pick, because if so, that is not allowed....

I think one of the best picks in the draft was Sidney Rice to the Bucs, great value pick, and after not being able to land Calvin Johnson in the first, this picks softens the blow a lot. They get arguabley the best defensive player in the draft, and a very good WR prospect. I don't know what you are talking about jetsfan119, I think your draft has gone very well so far.

Oh, that's the other FLorida DE, Ray McDonald, which is even more of a reach IMO.

    My bad...

    EDIT AGAIN, that's a DE... That's a head scratcher.

Yeah, I agree, a horrible pick. McDonald is a DE, where they already have Ogunleye, Alex Brown AND Mark Anderson. That is three amazing DE's, where is McDonald gonna fit in, becuase McDonald is NOT a DT.

The Bears have the worst draft going IMO. Tony Hunt was a major reach and not near a position of need with Adrian Peterson also on the roster. He doesn't provide a change of pace, but is rather the same type of runner as the other two.

McDonald was a MAJOR reach with much better DEs around. Plus DE isn't even close to a need with the 3 guys you mentioned.
