Draft this kid... sounds like a Mangini guy...

Dude is brilliant. Played Big-East football at AGE 15!!!! Will have 4 years of college experience at age 19!! Dude should be graduating high school, not college.

    Look him up.

He around the 10-13 range. Unless you want to package a and 2 to get him , we wont get him. Plus he would be a DE in our system, we should focus on NT. A really good one probably

Hes a great talent, but a 4-3 Dt, the only Dt we could really use is Branch

Scouts actually say that he is suited to play the NT as well.

I see that we do not have a fourth or Seventh rounder this year.Do you think we can get anything for McCariens if we trade him.I will gladly take a 7th rounder for him .Rumor has it that we are fielding offers for Mc Cariens and Barton.,What is Barton worth at this point.I really think we should keep him on the team since we probably will not get anything better than a 6 th rounder for him.I think it is vital that we get a 4th rounder. We need to get a pick on the second day in round 2.

I see him as another Robertson and don't see him as an upgrade. His physique is very similar to Robertsons and has pretty much the same weakness , in that he is small and not a hole plugger.
He will be good and with his incredibly low age will have a very long NFL career.

    He's a 3-4 DE NOW.
When the kid's body matures (look at NBA players that come out of hs)
I think his frame will allow him to carry the extra weight needed to be a NT.

I dont think because he is young he will have a longer NFL career, its not how old you are that makes you break down its how much pounding you recieve. He is going to last as long as everyone else and is gonna retire at a younger age.

He is way to small to play the NT in a 3-4

Why is that? Who's to say he wouldn't be able to be a 3-4 DE?

I think he fits better as a 4-3 DT, but I don't see why he couldn't play DE in the 3-4.

    Exactly.

It could take him a couple years to become a decent NT, which is really the only way he fits a 3-4. He's too short to be an end. In the 3-4 you want the ends to be at least 6'3. Look around at all the 3-4 teams, and all their DEs are around there.

if we ran a 4-3, id think it would be a good idea. but he has no size to play in the middle of a 3-4 line.
