He played a full college football season on it this year. Didnt get hurt once. He's not afraid to get hit, he's as healthy as he was before the knee problem

its still repaired though...it means its not as strong as it once was...i wouldnt want any part of it just for the sake that its been proven that your more susceptable to another injury after the first one

When you rehab it, and take care of yourself, you can go back to 100%.. When he 1st ran after surgery he ran a 4.55, that was in fall 05, now hes running 4.35.. Hes worth a day two look.

There have been tons of guys who have come back from a knee injury and been fine. Thats why there is physical therapy, LOTS of it. The fact that he had the surgery, came back, worked his ass off, and ran FASTER is a testament to what kind of guy Mike Walker is.

It's scary yea. It's a risk yet. But so is the draft in general. Walker is one of the best sleeper prospects in this draft.

you can go back to 100% in terms of how you perform...however the knee will never be 100% again in terms of how reliable it once was, as Penny's arm will never act as if it hadnt gone through those two surgeries...it may perform that way, but the fact of the matter is that his shoulder can go at any point, on any given hit...im not saying it will, but there is that risk

for a WR to not be able to rely 100% on his knees is too much of a risk...when he cuts in his route, there is too much pressure on it and that scares me

I guess we won't agree on this one yet.

Today was Pro-day 1 for UCF [day two is 4/16] So we will see if the jets are scouting him at all.

This is a weird thread. I post that a 6'1" 200 lbs little known CB (a position of need BTW) prospect blew everyone away at this Pro Day with 40s of 4.35 and 4.32 and vertical jump of 41 1/2 inches to the point that NFL Network is doing a feature story on him. Yet all everyone keeps posting about are a bunch of scrub WRs. Those numbers would have put him at the very top as the best 40 time, best vertical jump and short shuttle by a CB. Who care about these bum WRs; we already have Coles, Cotch and Smith. A 4th WR is not a major need.

    San Jose prized receivers..
The only reason i brought up walker, was because he was an alternative to the WRs mentioned.

either way clearly if we cared to talk about the guy you mentioned we would be.

My bad; the title fooled me. I didn't realize it was a low-rated WR prospects exclusive thread.

    Low rated?

Helpful hint: Just because YOU have not heard of them, does not mean they are unknown or unranked.

soooo, anyway. I find it a little odd that the scouts would be so forthcoming about who they were there to see. That smacks of misdirection to me. I bet legler is right and they are there to see the Cal Poly corner.

and legler, I feel ya, man, hard being an adult on boards sometimes.

almost all of us are adults here

and almost all the scouts who were there at pro day were huddled around Jones and Broussard...im curious now..

what exactly were Browns stats last year...bc im sure that he would have grabbed more attention if he was more then just good at pro day drills
