Their friggen coach flied to his house and held a gun to his head until he signed the contract. To me... this signing was to prevent him coming to here. He flourished in the 3-4, his production will drop in the 4-3 just watch. I think this is a terrible signing by the Dolphins and thinking about it doesn't scare me one bit.

They have just as much money as the Jets. They are just quicker to spend all of it very quickly. For the Pats it's a last ditch effort to squeeze out another championship before they start to rebuild (won't work) and the Dolphins are just dumb as always.

I thought the Fins were going to continue to employ the 3-4 under Cameron/Capers. Here's a quote from Zach Thomas from a few weeks ago...

“Great. It was awesome. That’s the best move they’ve made so far, besides Cameron. Capers is the best, the best in the league. I’m just happy I don’t have to change the scheme, because I don’t want to go to a 4-3. I want to stay in a 3-4. That’s the best-fitting for me.”

The Dolphins just signed a soon to be 30 LB to go along with all their other over 30's in the defensive front seven?

*pops the champagne cork as I contemplate the Dolphins as the AFC East doormat moving forward*

Strange move. It almost seems like they are going to totally rebuild their offense, while trying to keep their defense serviceable. Can't see that strategy working....

yea i think your right... 2 years ago they were 4-3... last year was a hybrid 3-4 4-3 and i think they might move into the 3-4 completely... i could be wrong tho. I just want to find something negative about it  Plus last year they were MUCH stonger with the 4-3... but now with Porter who knows?

Do you know anything about football?

LB Joey Porter have reached agreement on a five-year, $32.5 million deal that includes $20 million worth of guaranteed money. - NFl. com

LB Adalius Thomas. He signed with New England for five years and $35.00 million, 22 million guaranteed. - NFL.com

Now go to nfl.com and look up both players stats. Porter had 7 sacks last year to Thomas's 11. Thmoas can play 5 defensive position well, Porter cannot. Thomas is bigger, more athletic and far more versitile. Porter has been on the decline for years, while Thomas has been on the rise. not only is Thomas a far better player, he has a great work ethic and is not a loud mouth. The kicker is that Thmoas could have made 9 mill a year with the niners. If you are going to be a hater. at least get your fact straight lol.
