    Great deal.

Got a very good starting running back, just by moving back in the draft. We still have 3 picks in the first 2 rounds, and have a lot of flexibility to move around if needed. And now we just filled one of our biggest needs.

Seriously Giants have to be thanking us right now.

We opened the door for the Willis McGahee and Michael Turner market for them. SD cant hold teams hostage of a 1st and 3rd rounder anymore after this deal.

This is a great deal for us! A starting RB and a second round pick for our #6 pick of the second round! Great job by Mr.T.

THATS WHAT THE BEARS FANS HAVE TO SAY!!!!!!!!!! HAHA HAHAHA IM LOVING IT!!!!!
the images of thomas jones running all over the saints in last years nfc playoffs still resonate in my head. This guy is as tough a runner as we needed and throw in leons explosiveness on 3rd downs, we can have a potent rushing attack...

    ummm.....ok?

Houston provides quality depth, who can act as a change of pace and some fresh legs next season...

there was time that everyone thought houston was one of our best backs last season...not saying much but he damn well deserves a roster spot...its called depth buddy....not all 3rd strigers dont have to suck

By far my favourite player not on the jets, I need a new Jersey now, now just keep Vilma and get him working within the 3-4 and I am super happy, throw in Columbo at RT, Coleman at RE and this will be an amazing off season

Dude, did you not watch the Jets-Bears game this past season? He stomped all over us: 23 rushes, 121 yards, 5.3 ypc

Did you not watch the Super Bowl? Another 100-yd game.

He is the perfect comliment to Leon.

    We are set at RB

UNREAL! Remember when Tangini manipulated the Skins last year for their 2nd round pick for virtually nothing? Well basically we get a potential pro bowler at RB and a late 2nd rounder for nothing. UNBELIEVABLE! i love it!

If he's okay with that, then great, have him as a 3rd stringer. I just don't know if Houston will willingly take that roll, hopefully he does.

this is a great trade because we only swapped our 2nd round picks! mWe dropped from 37th to 59th in the 2nd round and picked up this starter who had 1200+ yards for 4 yds/carry last year. He is only 29, not 32 dipshit-do some research! Great trade and now we have Jones and Washington splitting carries and we gave up nothing-still have chips to trade!

Certain points of the year he wasnt even activated and didnt say one word.....

He will be fine while he rests his thyroid and knee problems. He'll be what TJ Duckett is sorta.

Great move! Great player and would improve our offense instantly. And all the Bears fans had such respect for him. I think this is another tremendous move by our FO.

How can you never have heard of Jones? He only started in the Superbowl a few weeks ago...

    Yeah, makes sense.

Damn I'm loving this trade! Now sign Joey Porter, Nick Harper, and then draft!
