Who would you rather the Jets pick up?

    David Bowens or Kenyon Coleman?

It seems increasingly likely the Jets will sign one and not the other. Who's the better fit?

How about we just grab Joey Porter and call it a day?

    Coleman .

Younger, good size for the 3-4, athletic, and is a DL guy.

We should pick up both, because I see Bowens as more of a situational pass-rusher at OLB (he's 6'3, 260), while Coleman is a DE (6'5, 295).

There's no reason we can't get both at a reasonable price, they do play different positions in our defense.

BOTH. They fill two needs and they are just hitting their primes.

Does anyone know how much room we have left on the cap?

Thomas Jones will cost some coin, maybe 4-5mil and if the rumors are true, adding Columbo would add another 4-5mil I bet.

Do we have any more room for anyone else other than draft picks? I would also like to extend Rhodes contract if we can get a bit of a discount for coming 2 years early.

If we do have cap room, I would love to get both Kenyon Coleman AND David Bowens. I think getting both would be deepen our defense by a great deal and truly allow us to go BPA in the draft.
