#28Martin and JetFighter will be livid at this news. They'll want us to trade for Peyton Manning and have him be our #3 QB.

Marques Tuiasosopo? Well, who cares. I hope the Front Office isn't focusing on the #3 QB spot.

whatever. He'd be as good as anyone as for the #3 QB spot. If for some reason he had to come into a game, I'd probably feel better about him that I would Ramsey.

Your mis-reading me, friend. I'm not suggesting we pull a Redskins and make stupid huge signing of average players. But what I am suggesting as are many others is that perhaps one of the guys who have signed already (just one) could have filled at least one of our many holes, while the others could be filled through the draft. As Managini often says, they have no specific offense or defense, they will do what they need to do each week to win the game. I think the same should apply to the offseason. While the core of our effort should be to build through the draft, we should not let that prohibit us from making free agent investments where it makes sense. New England, while always building through the draft, does make exceptions, as in Correy Dillon, Rosie Colvin and this year's free agent signings.

We can't be wasting time with Tuiasasopawapadopo, we need to be spending more time filling gaps in starting positions. We can find a perfectly good 3rd QB in the draft or as Training Camp approaches.

I've been happy with the new FO for the most part but every once in a while they pull what I will refer to as a "Schlegel". Signing this guy would definitely be a "Schlegel".

Lets just bring in Mike McMahon at this point.

I'd like to see us get Brad Johnson as our #3, we'd have vet insurance in case Chad got hurt and Clemens wasn't ready and in short spurts I think Brad can still be effective.

What do you guys want for a #3 QB? Do you think jeff garcias would have come here to be the #3? A #3 QB is usually a project or an old vet. Hopefully he never hs to play b/c if he does no matter who it is we are in trouble just like 2 years ago.

    your prolly right.

plus if clemens really is going to takeover, I would want him taking his licks now if chad goes down.

Not really his fault Oakland has provided him with no protection what so ever.

Tui is a strict west coast offense led QB. Thats his lone asset that he can be alright in.
