Where are you? Have you decided to divorce yourselves from the NYJs & remarry with Herm in KC? Speak up & advise all of us of your leanings these days. Thanks

Still can't over the fact that he DUMPED you. Just like Bill Bellichek and even Al Groh. I certainly will be rooting for the Chiefs. I'll watch the Jets with the same fascination as watching a NASCAR pile up or the sinking of the Titanic. I'll root for the Brokeback Mountain boys to draft Jay Cutler this year taking this years overhyped athlete with all the tools and triangle numbers (oh, and the 62nd ranked passer rating in the NCAA) will hasten the departure of the management team. Every year a non performing 'athlete' shoots up the draft boards after the college season is over. This year its Jay Cutler, the last four drafts its been Alex Smith, Troy Williamson, DeWayne Robertson and Philip Rivers.. how did that work out for the teams that drafted them.

What I want for the Jets is for Tagliabue to step in and force Woody Johnson to sell the team or allow the NFL to run the franchise and have a competitive team by the time the new Giants Stadium is open for business in 2010

All Jet fans want whats best for the team. What's best for the team in my opinion, is an early exit for Tannenbaum and Mangini and an NFL takeover and if it takes two 1-15 years, great.

Herman Edwards was the second best jet coach just behind weeb ewbank

5 Seasons --3 Playoff teams --One division title

twice got to the semi finals 10-10 tie in oakland --then our defense caved in

had the game won in pitt --only to have the 46 yard fg fall two inches short --hit the crossbar and bounced away---else on to new england for the championship

the two years jets missed playoffs chad was down

The NFL gave us Kensil when Hess looked for help. Analyze the results of that move

I would not say happy since I have not yet seen EM perform. However, blowing out all the stale air in Hempstead strikes me to be positive so long as they are qualifiied to do there jobs.

I respected Herm as a coach and liked him as a person. He did a lot of good things for the Jets, and on balance has to be seen as one of our best coaches, behind Weeb and (in my view) Walt Michaels. I'd put him ahead of Parcells, though not by much.

But even as Chuck Noll reached a point when it was best for the Steelers to bid him and his four SB rings adieu, Herm's time with the Jets had become less creative and more in-bred. He clearly has a loyalty to his players, but to an extent where it begins to harm the need for new blood. I didn't see any dynamicism from the guy, a willingness to shake anything out. His waving that letter from the NFL about making the wild card in 2004 was a defining moment to me, suggesting a complacency Herm didn't seem to recognize in himself.

I think an older and wiser Herm will give the Chiefs some stability and uplift, and perhaps he'll find the hardness in himself he needs to reach that next level as coach. I just think he was never going to do that with the Jets.

So are you switching loyalty from a NYJ fan to a KCC fan since Herm is now there? IMHO by the 2nd year of his tenure the Chief fans will have out there tomahawks to scalp Herm. Alsways remember the adage that a tiger never changes his stripes

Aww, Champ without Bradway or Herm to attack anymore, you don't have anything to post else about don't ya? Suggesting that a fan follows the coach seems beneath you.

Why didn't you follow BP to Dallas, eh?

I think people just like to see their opinion on a website and get reactions from other people, so they know they are not alone in their sad little lives.

    Peace out.

If I am still here under the name MSUJet then that will answer your silly question, but are you a Cowboy fan to follow your beloved Bill Parcells, or a Patriot fan to follow Bill Belichick?

Herm was a incompetent, overrated coach, who didnt have common sense to save his life.

"3RD AND 15 FOR THE JETS FROM THE 2 1/2 YARD LINE"

"OKAY, LETS TAKE A KNEE AND KICK THE FIELD GOAL, HEY, THATS STILL SUCCESS"
