great article. I would personally love to have travis henry on the team. I think he's still got a lot left in him as evident by his 1,200 yard season. And Marc Colombo would also be a good pickup. I don't think the jets will do any drastic trading up like the one john clayton suggested. To move up that high the jets will have to give up all their first day picks. Vilma will NOT be traded. Coles will NOT be traded. Plus, i'd rather have Coles, Vilma and a first round guy than calvin johnson any day.

Duckett and Colombo will be good pickups. Duckett was misused in ATL. True they had the best run game but we have to remember that Vick ran a chunk of yards. I believe if Duckett comes here he will be a very good player for us.

Only 15 mil under the cap? The Jets were at 20.8, then cut Barlow and some others which got it up to 23.9. I think Ramsey got it down another 1.2 mil. The only player we signed was Cotchery... he can't have a 10 mil cap hit this year...???

I would guess it's unlikely they would go after Henry, too risky, and I sure hope they don't go after Dillon... he's done.

I forget what the bounty was, but didn't we give up 2 firsts or a first and third or something like that to get Curtis Martin?

It seems those days are gone in the league front offices. No one wants to take those chances anymore. Job security is too feeble I guess. I like the gambles that payoff

but then, I guess so does everyone else. Not too many Mike Ditka's left out there.

It was a First and a Third. You have to remember in this case CM was already a proven 1,000 yard back when we gave up the picks. Quite a different story with Turner where you are banking on potential rather than proven ability as a feature back.

Id rather see Leon run this year and get a rb in the draft next, none of those rbs interest me except Willis and Buffalo wouldnt trade him to us plus the giants and broncos are going after him hard.

Your so biased when it comes to, Jordan. :/

I am ok with whoever we pick up as long as it is not Travis Henry (who makes me sick), or Jamal Lewis.

If it wasn't for the jets Willis McGahee would have never had a 1000 yard season

    4 years in the NFL:

    Rookie: DNP
2nd Year: Playing with the Jets: 1128 Yards W/O Jet Games: 954 Yards
3rd Year: Playing with the Jets: 1247 Yards W/O Jet Games: 991 Yards
4th Year: Playing with the Jets: 990 Yards W/O Jet Games: 715 Yards
