Ha Ha Greg Olsen is no Doug Jolley. But people will still be bitching when he finishes the season with 10 TDs because hes a crap blocker or vice versa.

My question is what kind of TE is a crap blocker? I mean, do we really need to spend a first round pick on a big WR who didn't really perform that well in college? I really hope he's not a Jet next year, but I also don't think I have anything to worry about.

IMO, if we want a receiver in Rd 1, which is what Greg's strong points are, I'd rather go with Bowe.

I still believe we need to concentrate on defense in rd 1....Moss, Moses Houston.....would be to my liking.

Mayock has said this kid is in the Shockey mould , and if thats the case I wouldn't be too upset if we did land him.
We do have greater needs , but for the first time in years I feel really comfortable going into the draft knowing we have got a Tannenbaum and Mangini calling the shots.
I wonder how much input Bradway will have?

it would be nice to have a red zone target like olsen, not that baker is bad but this guy would upgrade the passing system a lot more

When I watch Olsen play, I certainly don't see Shockey. No offense to Mayock. I just don't see it. I don't see the drive. I don't see the production. He's got talent, but I don't want to use a first round pick on a TE that is far from complete.

no doug jolly was the definition of sucking but we do need that TE that can stretch the field and give our QB a dump off outlet. Chris baker is good but we do need that double threat NE does it all the time and its paid off specially when you think of cover one good TE now you gotta plan for 2
