There's the 3rd game on Thanksgiving that I think will be a "roving" game to go along w/ Dallas and Detroit. The Titans unis certainly could be used for a Turkey day game.
i wouldn't mind it.. it would spice things up a little. I agree it should be for the bills game since they are wearing those old standing buffalo uniforms a couple times a year anyway.
Sounds like a marketing ploy to me so they can sell more jerseys. Its still cool and I don't have a problem with it.
Al Dorow is one way to go, since he was a decent Jets QB that nobody talks about. Went .500 his first 2 seasons as an expansion team. Still the jerseys to get would be Maynard, Grantham, and Mathis. All three played for the Titans and starred for the Super Bowl Jets.
It most likely will be the Bills game. Aside from the uniform thing, the Titans and Bills played their first ever game against each other.....
But i remember the bears wearing their home orange jerseys against the cowboys when they wore their throwbacks blues.
I'd go for an Atkinson jersey myself. Guy was a 218 pound LB that was all over the field. He also made the biggest play in Supe III as far as I'm concerned... and the announcers missed it. He got a hand on a short pass into the end zone that appeared to have been a bad drop, but it was Atkinson... he got just enough of it to make it change direction, and the TE couldn't make the catch. Them the Colts missed the FG. Huge play.

It makes me so happy that I'll have to be at that game. The Jets are doing the right thing too. Against the Bills and not the retarded Alternate jersey. But there were two versions of the Titans jersey actually. 1962 had the yellow stripes on the shoulders. I'm sure that would be the one they would wear. That's the one they sell.
I was just thinking about that. Maybe Reebok would produce a few. The Maynard jersey is 325 bucks. I still haven't had the time to afford it really. I'll buy it for that game.
I dunno. I'm usually into Jets obscura, but really, once you change the name and the colors, whats the point in going back?
