Houston is glad that he fell to them because they have by far the worst corp of CB's in the league. This is a huge pick for them.

The Minnesota Vikings select: Trent Edwards, QB Stanford This was a tough pick for the Vikings, but with such little talent at QB this year, especially in later rounds, the front office needed to make this call. Some may be wondering..."How about Drew Stanton." Edwards has the height (6'4") and while at college, his playing time has been shortened by injuries. This is a very smart QB who has an amazing amount of potential. He reminds me a lot of Jay Cutler.
With the 42nd pick in the 2007 NFL draft The San fransisco 49ers select DE from the university of Hawaii Ikaika Alama-Francis Some people may think this is kind of high, but with Mike Nolan's 3-4 scheme, they need a big 3-4 DE, and Ikaika fits the bill, at 6'5" 285 pounds, with an aging Bryant Young (who didn't have a bad season) and a lackluster Marques Douglas, they can use an upgrade at that position....
