I don't know about backups or not but I'm leaning towards no right now ....it sounds cool, but it's not realistic because a lot of people would be taking say their 3rd wr and backup rb before some starters, say their strong safety or punter or something. I think that if we were going to do backups to begin with, we should have been given the choice to pick backups at anytime in the first place and contstuct our rosters how we wanted IMO. That is why I think we should just do our standard starting teams.....but I would like to hear what some of you say about this.

I'm for doing backups after picking starters. That's the way it should be. IMO

why should it be that way instead of drafting backups when you want from the start?? Maybe I value my nickelback more than my punter, a puss rush specialist is very important, etc etc.....in any draft I've seen, even in fantasy drafts, you have the flexibility to pick who you want and when.

If we were going to do backups before all starters were finished that should have been the rule from the beginning. It could have changed some peoples strategies. I know it is unlikely that anyone would be drafting backups at this point, but it's hard to say what would be different.

At the rate we're going, I don't think we should add more rounds at this point.

that's what i'm saying....but my point is that is the right way to do backups.....only doing backups after every starter is not correct and I don't think we should do that, especially at this pace.....IMO next draft we should do backups from the start

Well maybe we'll put it to a vote, but I really think it's better we make it mandatory for the 24 starters (or maybe just exclude K/P). It would be very easy for someone to snatch 4 WR's in the first 4 rounds and make the entire thing incredibly unrealistic and impossible for anyone to defend. Keep it fair.

I'll do it either way, just saying that drafting strictly starters before any backups is also unrealistic too.

JV is up until 12:59 PM, because he has a missed pick and according to the rules only has 2 hours for a 2nd pick.

Ah... there's JV's problem... his PM box is full and cannot receive one.

Can't go wrong with Orlando Pace - he's still one of the best in the game. He's supposed to be able to fully recover for next season. He is getting up there but has a few more good years left in him. Good value in the 6th round.
