Nabbed Johnson for TB again in the 2nd draft, the ideal pick. I will probably take whatever DE that Washington doesn't take at 7 for Minnesota.
Adams is a very good fit on the Cards defense. I'm curious to see how Anderson works out at the combine. He's a name that rose quickly after the season, but with such depth at DE this year, I'm really curious to see how the rotation shakes out in the end. Moss is a great fit for the Pats, and I'd be so pissed if the Jets missed him by one pick. I could see the Jets trying to leapfrog NE if Moss falls past 15 or so. Aaron Ross has gotten some good clippings of late--Mike Mayock, whose rankings tend to be pretty good in my opinion, has him rated high (#2 CB I think). Good job. Who are you in the current draft?
Johnson would be a great choice for them, but in my mind that's if Brady Quinn is gone. You really think they'd pass on Quinn? Are you that confident in Simms not only returning but even developing into the QB for that team? I think Gruden's offense would be a great match for Quinn's skills and style. I see a little Rich Gannon in him.
Quinn doesn't have the arm of Rich Gannon, and is not a sure-thing prospect like Johnson is. Quinn chokes under pressure, and packs his stats against bad teams like Michigan State. Also, Minnesota selects DE Jamaal Anderson, Arknasas - a steal at #7, IMO. He's the top defensive player on my board.

I went with Sidney Rice Anthony Spencer Ryan McBean Kareem Brown I was hoping for Manuel Ramirez with the last pick but missed him by a few and figured you couldnt have enough DLineman with size and strength. Hopefully, Brown can play NT and McBean DE
I'm happy wioth the drafts I had, too: Chiefs: Leon Hall, Brandon Mebane, HB BLades Giants: Marshawn Lynch, Doug Free, David Irons Rambo, good job with the Jets, but as I've written before, I will be disappointed if they go WR in round one--I just think that position's a crapshoot in the draft. As this draft played out, though, my top choices for the spot were gone. I would have considered Michael Griffin or one of the guards (Grubbs, Beekman, or Sears). I like the McBean pick, and Brown is a solid talent in the third.
Thanks for the feedback, it really opened my eyes to how crappy our slot is. We are going to miss out on all of the premier talent aside from our first 2nd rounder. Also, as far as Rice goes, if I hadn't picked him, I would have picked Spencer so I was able to get him later and secure an athletic wide receiver.

Just wrapped up another two drafts that I am happy with (mainly due to players uncharacteristically falling to my spot). Browns: 1. Joe Thomas 2. Justin Harrell 3. Troy Smith Steelers: 1. Gaines Adams 2. Ryan Kalil 3. Ray McDonald (with Mike Tomlin being a cover-2 guy and Dick LeBeau being a 3-4 guy I expect a lot of hybrid formations which Gaines Adams and Ray McDonald should be able to excel at as the pivot positions.
I loved it. Personally I would perfer Earl Everret or Rufus Alexander in the 3rd, but the CB was a good pick too. Good job.
