If you so into finding the link ask the other poster where he saw it otherwise try the archives of the News/Post/Star Ledger & Newsday. Also please reply to my question to you. Thanks
They HAD that player, but they cut JP Machado  Seriously, I agree with you that we do need a really fiery leader on defense. Chad has shown he can be that guy on offense at times, same with LC. That's not a knock on any of the players on defense, but the players we have now are more the quieter types of leaders. We do need someone to get in the other players' faces from time to time.
Again, the burden of proof is on YOU, not me. You say JV said it, PROVE it. The simple truth is, YOU CAN'T. And yes, I really do think you are that stupid. Or were you referring to another question?
The other poster also saw it so it is proven or are you saying he made it up? Now for the question you are ducking Just think of this scenario that the quality massive NT DOES not materialize now we are again stuck with a MLB allowing the other side 5 yds per carry. Do you thing that is good for us & do you think that with that defect we can EVER become World Champions?
You keep saying this 5 yards a play crap....yet you fail to understand that Vilma had a favorable yard per average tackle compared to other MLB's in the league, did he not? And also, what players do you think are an upgrade over Vilma in the league that we can sign this year?
The Jets have no choice. If you want to play the 3-4, you need a big NT. And that's a fact. Now, I just scoured the archives of Newsday and did not find that vilma quote you made up. So, where is your source? BIHW?
I doubt he would appreciate you putting words in his mouth. JV did not, nor ever will, say he isn't smart enough for the 3-4. In fact, if any player admits they're not smart enough to pick up a specific system, they have essentially signed their own pink slip. You will never see a player do this. You are misquoting and failing to comprehend the article, but that's no surprise with you. If I have time tonight when I get home from work I'll try to find the article you're referring to since you're too fucking lazy to do it.
I remember those stats and JV's #'s were very favorable to several of the "big-name" LBers in the league. Champ just tries to spin the stats in his favor, but for those of us that have seen those stats we know he's completely wrong.
I think even though many will disagree because he is supposedly "dumb," as put by some of the users year, but Justin Miller is one of the guys with attitude. God knows he can hit, and we saw the way he aggravated opposing players (Plaxico - two personal fouls against him). He clearly gets into the minds of players, even if his technique needs much refining.
